This Animal Crossing New Horizons Museum Guide will show you how you can unlock the Museum for your own island in the game. The Museum is pretty easy to unlock and will barely take a few minutes to unlock.
The museum can be unlocked after you gather a few items, and when Blathers joins your island to open the Museum. Let’s take a look at what exactly you need for a Museum.
Animal Crossing New Horizons Museum Guide
Below we have detailed how to unlock a Museum in the game.
How to Unlock Museum
The first thing you need to do is start collecting items like Fossils, Insects, and Fishes. You actually require any five of these items, where you can have any item as long as they total up to five.
With the items in hand, go and talk to Tom Nook who will be very interested in the items. He will then be on the call with Blathers who is someone interested in opening the Museum for you to bring in more interesting items to showcase inside it.
After this conversation, Tom Nook will require you to choose a spot on your island to open up the Museum. After a little while, you will see a tent where you chose the spot for the Museum, with Blathers inside. At this point Blathers will require 15 more interesting items like bugs and fishes to get the Museum going.
Collect fishes or bugs and bring all the 15 items back to Blathers. After this, the construction for the Museum will begin and will go on for 24 hours. So you will have to check back after exactly a day to see the Museum.
