Celebrate the Third Anniversary of For Honor with New In-Game Event

Ubisoft has announced that For Honor is celebrating its third anniversary and in celebrations, For Honor is kicking off the Peace Festival event. Peace Festival is a two-week in-game event commemorating the game’s third anniversary and it will run until February 27, 2020. The festival kicks off as the great cataclysm cools down and the leaders of Heathmoor invite the greatest warriors from all faction to compete in the Honor Games.

During the event, you will be able to jump in a new variation of the fan-favorite limited-time game mode called Carousel of Death. This is a 4v4 Elimination game mode and the player when dies for the first time, returns back after 5 seconds. From there onwards, every time they die, a five-second penalty will be added to their respawn time. The game continues until players on one team manage to eliminate the entire enemy team at the same time.

During the first week of the anniversary event, the Carousel of Fire will add an additional twist with damage boosts and flaming geysers in the arena further adding to the challenge. A brand new twist will also arrive in this mode at a later time and players will get to know more about it later when it is revealed. It will be revealed during the second week of the anniversary event. As the event progresses, the game map dressing will alternate and new things will be added to it such as fireworks, live crowd with musicians and original fan art banners from For Honor community.

As always, the anniversary event will also bring with it tons of themed loot and event-specific additions to the game. You will be able to nab a new Battle Outfit, Ornament and Effect. New Instrument Emotes for all Heroes is also part of the new event-specific loot. Players can obtain all loot and content until March 2, 2020, in the form of ‘Honor Games’ Bundle which will cost them 30,000 Steel. Ubisoft recently released Season 4 ‘Hope’ in the game which comes with tons of new content.
