SOEDESCO and the indie studio Knuist & Perzik has announced that the Definitive Edition of the overwhelmingly positive rated game Wuppo is arriving next month on Steam. The Definitive Edition will be free for all the current owners of the game. Players who purchase the game on the release date will also be able to nab a 50% discount on the game.
Wuppo currently sits at 95% positive reviews on Steam and this has led to the developers to release its Definitive Edition for its dedicated fanbase. In Wuppo, players jump in the shoes of Wum who is currently looking for a new home and embarks on a bizarre journey through a charming world which is full of weird creatures, puzzles, bosses and political chaos.
The definitive edition will arrive with significant improvements and extra features over the original title which will make it even more adventurous journey and the world even more charming. The DE features an all-new co-op mode and extra bosses along with numerous audio and visual improvements. Players will also be able to play all-new quests in the game.
The DE also brings with it new tools that will help players explore the vibrant world of Wuppo. Ever since its release, Wuppo has been making headlines when it was nominated for Best Game and Best Narrative 2017 by BIG Festival, the Best Game Design and Gamekings (Audience choice) 2017 awards by Dutch Game awards along with the Best Art, Best Audio and Best Game Design 2017 awards by BIC fest.
In Wuppo, you get to travel as a lonely Wum and get to see unique places such as the metropolitan haven Popocity to the cavernous Bliekopolis. Discover magical places with your Wum and encounter strange creatures. However, Wum is no ordinary hero and you must use all his wit and charm to succeed in this larger than life journey.
Wuppo Definitive Edition is releasing on Steam on September 5, 2019.
