Square Enix Reveal a Brand New Game Outriders at E3 2019

Outriders E3 2019

Square Enix has revealed a brand new game called Outriders during its E3 2019 presentation. The developers behind this brand new game are People Can Fly who made Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgement. Outriders is essentially a co-op shooter that is set is a sci-fi world which is dark and desperate.

Outriders is pretty important for People Cam Fly because it is their first project after they went their own separate way back in 2015 from Epic Games. As ambitious as it sounds, Outriders will allow players to jump in the game solo or with three people with co-op support. At the reveal event, the developer also showcased some of the weapons that are featured in the game and they look like something straight out of an Alien movie.

Check out the reveal trailer below.

Square Enix also showed a developer diary which shows the perspective of People Can Fly, different development stages of the game and what inspired the developers to create this game. We are expecting more similar developer diaries to come in the future as well. At this point, People Can Fly has over 200 people working for the studio in three different countries which include the U.S., Poland and the U.K.

Another important bit to note here is that the Outriders featured in the game are actually tied to the Marvel Universe although at this point it is not clear how they are tied to the universe however we are pretty sure that this mystery will be solved in the future as we get to know more about the game as the development progresses on it.

As promising as the game looks, we would love to get more information on the title and hopefully some sort of beta would be amazing. Sadly a confirmed release date for the game was not announced by the developer for Outriders at its E3 2019 reveal.

Outriders is planned for a Summer 2020 release and will come out on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
