Retro-Puzzler 6Souls Launching Next Month on PC and Consoles

Indie publisher Ratalaika Games has announced that its upcoming retro puzzler 6Souls is coming to PC and consoles next month. The game is being developed by BUG-Studio and will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The release date for the game is set for December 3, 2021.

6Souls follows the story of Jack and his dog Butch who are adventure lovers and one day they find a map with the details of an abandoned castle of the Clifford family. Both of them head there eagerly in search of possible treasure however their find it really hard to find a way inside the castle. While crossing the bridge, they fall down and have to travel through the castle’s basement in order to get out.

While down there, they find another soul who instead asks them for help. The game has 10 chapters featuring more than 80 levels in the normal game mode and more than 120 levels in the much harder ‘Difficult’ mode. Each level is filled with bosses, hidden surprises with tons of puzzles, and lore that draws you deeper into the game. As you progress in the story, you also notice that Jack and Butch interact in various ways.

In different places, the passage will be too small, and Jack will be unable to progress through however Butch will be able to help out Jack in such places as he will squeeze through and open up places. Jack normally carries Butch in his backpack, and he can easily get out of it and crawls into tight spaces. During these sequences, you will get control of Butch, and you will be able to move it around and complete various tasks.
