Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Yu Ji Boss Guide

In the first phase of the fight, the combat against Yu Ji will be the easiest in the whole battle. But this doesn’t mean that you should take things lightly. The attacks presented in the first phase begins with a beam of swords that the boss will first produce, and then launch toward your location.

There are also critical blows that you have to look out for, which include the twist charge attack, the rush and grab, and the sphere of energy that the boss will land on you. Since the boss is easy to manage in the first phase, you can be a little aggressive after you have understood the normal attacks produced by Yu Ji.

In the second phase, the boss will transform to Embodiment of Demonic Qi, where Yu Ji turns into a flying dragon with more attacks up its sleeves. The first is the spinning lunge that is pretty slow and easily dodged, while the other is where it produces five swords and slashes at your location six times.

The critical blows in the second phase are the sweeping grab, the sphere, the wing sweep slash attack, and an upside-down tail strike and tail smash. With so many attacks that you have to look out for, there is a way you can anticipate attacks by looking at the body parts of the dragon. Every attack has a body part glowing, indicating what type of attack is going to be incoming.

When the boss uses the Grab attack in the second phase, do not dodge or move away, but wait for the perfect moment to parry. This is the best way to easily counter this attack. The other attack where the dragon slashes with five swords always contains six slashes in sequence. However, the sixth and the last slash takes time to land, leaving the boss open for you to counterattack.
