Developer Metaverse has released the fourth vlog for their upcoming turn-based strategy title Angelic detailing additional in-game heroes. The new heroes in the spotlight in this week’s vlog include the infested sorceress Odile the Black Swan and the infested alien warrior Rumbrogon. In the new vlog, Game Director Erkan Bayol details both new in-game heroes along with revealing their in-game models and other details about both of them.
Before the infestation, Odile used to be a soprano and ballerina. After she was infected by the infestation, she is the only known infested human who remains as an independent individual and acts freely on her own. Normally, when someone becomes infected, the infestation takes over them and they become an extension of the infestation themselves. However, this was not the case with Odile.
Very little is known about the connection between infected people and the spore colonies however Odile is a very unique character in the game. She is a sorceress and is a very capable aisar caster. She becomes your ally in the game as you progress in the main story of the game and she also happens to know the second hero who is in the spotlight in today’s vlog known as Rumbrogon.
Rumbrogon shares a similar story but he is an alien and is one of the only remaining sane aliens who managed to keep their sanity after getting infested. Unlike Odile, Rumbrogon is a warrior class hero and prefers to use his strength and fearlessness for powerful melee blows on his enemies. He also comes wielding a powerful sword and can regenerate his health as well. Both Odile and Rumbrogon share a strong bond and in numerous scenarios, Ruymbrogon has also risked his own life in order to save his ‘queen’.
