Elden Ring offers a huge world filled with different and weird creatures and NPCs that you can interact with including a walking-and-talking Cup. Another one of these weird creations that Elden Ring will throw at you includes the huge and walking buildings called Mausoleums. These walking Mausoleums are huge, and they offer an exploration opportunity to you as well once you get inside them.
How to Stop the Walking Mausoleums
Our Elden Ring Walking Mausoleums Guide details how you can stop these behemoth walking buildings and get access to whatever is hiding inside them. As you continue to explore The Lands Between, you will eventually find yourself in the Lurina region. Here, you will come across the huge walking Mausoleums. Since they do not stop moving, you first have to stop them to get inside them.
This is fairly easy and all you need to do is get under them and hit the white skull-like symbol on their feet. This feels similar to the Colossi from Shadow of the Colossus and the icon pretty much reminded me of the Colossi in an instant. Just keep hitting these symbols and they will eventually fall down. Do this on two feet and the huge Walking Mausoleums will sit down.
Make sure that you are not below them when they sit because it will kill you in instant. Now you can go inside them and explore at your own will. As soon as they start folding their legs inside, this is your sign that you must run away from them. Once they sit down, you can move around them and find the path leading above these behemoth structures.
