Rune Factory 5 Money Farming Guide – How to Make Quick Money Early

Rune Factory 5 has one trick that lets you get a lot of money in the early stages of your gameplay and pretty fast. The method detailed in this Rune Factory 5 Money Farming Guide gives you 500K Gold and can be repeated multiple times.

The first thing you need to do for this method is to recruit Elsje in your party, which can be done by talking to her and raising your friendship level to 3 with her. This is because of the character’s supporting role that helps you with consumable items, which instead of using on yourself, you can sell for Gold.

Once you have Elsje in your party, you need to reduce your health to lower than 25% but not completely depleted that you are very close to dying. You can do this in multiple ways whether you fight a monster to lower your health or go for a safer approach of consuming HP lowering items or use spell seas to lower your health.

Now that you are all set, save the game so that you can have a backup point to come back to if things go wrong. With Elsje by your side, command her to stay close when starting combat with a monster. Your goal here is to keep yourself and the monster from dying while keeping your health low enough that it allows Elsje to throw items at you. If Elsje throws the items directly at you, they will be consumed and waste the item, which means that you should dodge when she throws the item, and then pick it up to save it in your inventory

The items that she throws at you can be  Onigiri or the Royal Curry, the latter going for 500K Gold when sold at the shipping bin. Repeat the process until you have enough in your inventory, or need more Gold. When you are ready to cash in, all you have to do is sell the Royal Curry or the Onigiri at the shipping bin to trade in for gold.
