In this Remnant From the Ashes The Harrow Boss Guide, we will show you how you can defeat The Harrow boss in the game. The Harrow is an enemy that relies on slash attacks with the Wolverine type blades it has on its hands, and also on the other smaller enemies that come to help.
The Harrow can seem like a deadly boss, but it is vulnerable to headshots and likes to scurry off letting the other enemies fight you. You will find this boss battle to be challenging in terms of how small the area is and how the ads keep on coming from all corners.
Remnant From the Ashes The Harrow Boss Guide
Below we have detailed how you can beat The Harrow in Remnant From the Ashes.
The Harrow’s Attacks
The Harrow has a few attacks that you will need to dodge, especially considering that the area is not so open and will be tough for you to navigate around. The Harrow is at an advantage when you are close to it, and it begins to slash away with its attack. This is why it is best to keep a distance from it.
The counter the distance you have created between you two, the Harrow will pounce with a slash of both hands at your position. The first time you fight The Harrow, this pouncing attack will catch you off guard and will take a chunk of your health.
The other thing you have to worry about is the ads that come to attack you. These enemies come in batches and are quite quick. Lastly, there are also environmental threats which the Harrow uses to its advantage. The area has a lot of pipes od radiation that the Harrow burst open. This will produce green radiation in the corner where the pipes are, and crossing through will give you radiation damage.
How to Beat The Harrow
First things first, the best way to deal damage is to attack The Harrow’s head. This is the area which will deal the most damage. Depending on what weapon you choose, its body is also prone to damage, but not as much as headshots.
The moment you enter the boss battle, you have a few seconds where you can hit many headshots to The Harrow as it slowly walks towards you. Follow up by dodging its pouncing attacks and always keep a distance between the two of you. Every time you deal enough damage, the boss will flee and let the smaller enemies fight you.
At this stage, your stamina matters the most. The ads will follow you around and will have to run to reload and dodge. To make sure you have enough stamina, make sure you have leveled up the Vigor Trait to give you extra stamina.
In the battle, one of your strategy objectives should be to stay in the main area of the battle. Do not head downstairs or in the hallways on the sides. This will only choke you from both sides with the ads, drain your stamina and leave you no room for escape.
Whenever you clear out the smaller enemies, The Harrow will return with its same pattern of attacks. Keep your attack in the offensive mode and continue dealing headshot damage.
Best Weapons
The best weapons for this boss battle should mainly be the ones that you prefer. However the most obvious should be the ones that deal more damage and have a decent rate of fire. Any weapon that requires frequent reloading will leave you highly vulnerable.
The Shotgun is the best weapon to deal damage to both the ads and The Harrow. The boss battle area is not as big, which means that you will be in the mid to close range with your attacks. This is where the Shotgun can be good enough to deal headshot damage and to take care of the ads.
Alternatively, any other weapon that offers decent magazine capacity and accuracy can also work. Take the Assault Rifle or the Spitfire to create some breathing space between you and the ads.
