Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Bit Rot announce the release date of their upcoming narrative puzzle game Recursive Ruin. The game will release next week on May 18, 2022, on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.

A kaleidoscopic narrative puzzle game in which an artist comes to terms with their grief. Explore an infinitely recursive world of strange fractal beauty and solve mind-bending puzzles. Confront the ineffable and chat with your cat in a search for meaning and hope.

The Infinite Realms in the game are filled with all sorts of strange, snarky denizens, hidden spaces, and of course, mind-bending physics. Players will have a unique ability allowing to shift the eternally shifting world inward or outward to their advantage. It will be as if you are playing with a kaleidoscope if you have ever experienced one.

Open up blocked and barred paths, overcome the plunging depths, and trick motion sensors, the reality will be what you make it to be. But don’t worry, you will not be completely alone. There is a cat called Behemoth at your side to accompany you on the journey.
