Happiny Guide – Pokemon Sword and Shield

Our Pokemon Sword and Shield Happiny Guide details everything that you need to know about finding and getting a Happiny in The Isle of Armor.

How to Get Happiny in The Isle of Armor

The two methods by which you can find a Happiny in Pokemon Sword and Shield are either by exploring the Wild Area or by Breeding. If you want to explore the Wild Area, head over there and keep checking the tall grass for an exclamation mark. If you see one, run into the Pokemon and if it runs away, there is a chance that the Pokemon is a Happiny. Run into the Pokemon and if it turns out to be a Happiny, catch it.

If you want to acquire a Happiny through the process of Breeding, then you will need a Chansey. They are found in the Wild Area as well but are much easier to find and catch. Now go to the market in Hulbury and buy Luck Incense. Bring the Chansey and a Ditto to Day Care and let Chansey hold the Luck Incense. After some time, Chansey will lay an egg that will give you a Happiny. All you need to do now is to ride around and move around the area until the egg hatches and you have your Happiny.
