PlayStation Store Adds Free PS VR Demo of the Sci-Fi Adventure; Eden Tomorrow

Eden Tomorrow

PlayStation Store has added a free demo of the sci-fi VR adventure game; Eden Tomorrow today. Players can now experience this classic adventure inspired by the fiction films of the 70’s and 80’s.

The game was confirmed to be coming as a VR experience on the PlayStation 4 back in 2017, but there was no other information of when we could get our hands on it. A trailer released in 2017 announced that the game will come on PSVR in spring of 2018, but that obviously did not happen.

Take a look at the trailer below:

The game is developed exclusively for the PlayStation VR where it features a classic yet adventurous, realistic, full CGI sci-fi movie gameplay for players to experience.

The story of the game is based on the fictional world taken over by the out of control artificial intelligence. Players will get to explore otherworldly surroundings in search of answers, contending with hostile environments and dangerous local wildlife as you unpick  the cryptic riddles as to how you ended up there.

You get the experience the game through the eyes of a lost wanderer, coming face to face with hostile enemies like giant worms, being pursued by vicious flying creatures and find yourself jostled among a herd of stampeding Sand Walkers as you uncover the planet’s secrets.

Game Director Frank Sennholz wrote over at the PlayStation Blog talking about the game,

Eden-Tomorrow is a story driven sci-fi action adventure inspired by classic science fiction films of the 70‘s and 80‘s, that also grapples with present-day fears of what could happen if an artificial intelligence gets out of control.

I don’t want to say more, as I don’t think there’s anything worse than having a story spoiled before you experience it yourself. And you’ll be able to do just that today, as we’re releasing a free demo of the game at PlayStation Store.

We can’t wait to see PS VR players’ reactions to Eden-Tomorrow after playing the demo!
