Shadestones can be found aplenty by killing the various types of enemies in the game. In addition, you can also find Shadestones in treasure chests that are randomly found in the different areas of Oninaki.

Below we have detailed how you can equip Shadestones on your weapons to make them powerful and increase their effectiveness.

Defeat Kushi

As you progress in Oninaki, you will notice that you will be collecting a lot of Shadestones on the way. These come from defeating enemies and by opening chests that contain them. However, there will be no way to equip them until you have defeated Kushi.

Kushi boss fight will come somewhere in the middle of your story progression of Oninaki. After you have defeated Kushi, you will now be able to go to a certain location to equip and upgrade your weapons.

How to Equip Shadestones to Weapons

Once you have defeated Kushi, you will get a new location marked with a golden symbol. Go to Deto and then take a detour to the left side of the map. the new marked location will lead you to an Alchemist’s Shop.

Talk to the shopkeeper where you will see the option to equip Shadestones. From this menu, you can equip Shadestones on your weapons, or swap them to make them better. You can check out the options you have here on the menu, and decide what is the best way to make your weapons stronger and to enhance them.
