Below we have detailed where to find Complex Machines and how to farm them.

Where to Find/How to Farm Complex Machine

Complex Machine is a rare upgrading material that is dropped by Giant Shades in the Southern Plains. This means that you need to fight a Giant Shade these tough enemies when you spot one. However, a drop is not guaranteed each time you beat a giant shade, which will require you to look for more of these enemies.

Another good way to farm Complex Machine is to go to the Barren Temple and then fighting the giant shades alone in there while ignoring the smaller enemies and backing off when you have beaten the giant shades. This will reset the area and respawn the giant shade, allowing you to defeat it again for a chance of picking up Complex Machine.

Another location where you can use this trick by respawning enemies is in the Lost Shrine, where two of these enemies attack you when you are about to climb the tower. Simply beating them, exiting the location, and returning back will spawn the enemies all over again, allowing you several opportunities to collect Complex Machines as dropped loot.
