This Mortal Shell Healing Guide will show you how healing works in the game, how you should heal, and what health items the game offers that you can use to heal. Mortal Shell is quite brutal in combat and can catch you off guard, drain your health in a few hits, and have you killed.
To help you stay alive, you should have a good understanding of healing in the game, and what items you have at your disposal that can boost your health.
Mortal Shell Healing Guide
Below we have detailed how to heal in the game, and what healing items you can find and use with various effects.
How to Heal
Healing doesn’t come easy in Mortal Shell and can only be done by picking up Health items from dead enemies or find them as loot in chests or from the ground. You get introduced to a healing item in the campaign which is the Weltcap.
The Weltcap is a health item that gives you 40 HP for one minute or 60 seconds. Wherever there are enemies or enemy camps, you are sure to find health items that can be looted. It would be wise to first clear out the camp from the enemies and then loot every item that you can find. Other places where you can get health items are from the Trader who sells all sorts of items that you can buy.
Health Items
There are several health items that you can find and use. Each item has its own effect that gives you health for a short period. Food items like the Baguette give you a very short amount of health when consumed, but items like the Weltcap are good to use during combat, especially when you are running dangerously low on health.
Another health item that you can find is the Roasted Rat, which gives you 30 HP for 25 seconds. While this may not be as good as the Weltcap, it is still a pretty good healing item that you can use.
