Indie developer Zar21 and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have announced the release date of their new meditative automation game VELONE. VELONE will release on April 21, 2022, on PC via Steam, Epic, and GoG. Check out the new release date trailer of VELONE below which details the intricate mechanical puzzles featured in the game:
VELONE takes players to a distant and dying planet that has been struck by a meteorite. This has led to most of the energy supply of the planet becoming defunct and civilizations are now going back to programming hydraulic machinery to produce and place valuable Velone stones. The game features 40 unique levels and each level lets you learn more about the planet, its habitants, and the climate.
Your goal is to place the Velone stones in the right spot on each level. The machines can be programmed in different ways and each level has different solutions as well. You will need to use logical thinking and creative ideas in order to beat each level. You can choose your own tasks carefully and slowly improve their constructs, making the finding of a solution even more rewarding. After the planning and placing phase is done, you can sit back and enjoy the flawless execution of your plans.
Key features of VELONE include:
- Creative automation and programming game
- Complex mechanical puzzles that can be solved in a myriad of ways for endless replayability
- Satisfying gameplay where creating solutions feels extremely rewarding
- Relaxing and meditative atmosphere
- 40 unique levels
You can head over to the Steam store right now in order to add the game to your wishlist if it strikes your fancy. VELONE takes its inspiration from the title Opus Magnum and it was developed by a one-person studio Zar21. It was founded by artist Eve Nohl who worked alongside programmer Moritz Krohn to develop the game.
