Mario Kart Tour Items Guide – All Items Detailed

Mario Kart Tour Items Guide

In this Mario Kart Tour Items Guide, we will show you all the items that you can find in the game and detail their effects on what they do when you use them. As you can expect, the items provide you with buffs and are also there to attack the opponents in the race.

There are a handful of items in the game that you can use to your advantage. These are available in the course where you need to drive over them to pick them up. Once you have done that, you can start using these items on your opponents to disrupt their race and knock them off down to a lower position.

Below we have detailed all the items and their effects.

Red Shell

This item will target the kart in front of you and will hit them. It can also be placed on your back to protect you from incoming projectiles.

Green Shell

This item will go straight and crash into the player that is in front of you, and then crashes the opponent. It can also be placed behind you to protect you

Banana

When placed, the banana will slip the opponent and makes them crash if they step on it. You can carry them and throw them behind you.

Super Horn

This item allows you to honk and blow away all items and karts that are around you. This way, you can take out items and the players that are trying to get too close to you.

Spiny Shell

This item is specially made to hunt and target down the player in 1st position. While it travels to hit the 1st position, it will also hit anyone in its path.

Bob-omb

This item will allow you to place this bomb over at the opponent to blow them away. Be careful as the explosion will affect you as well if you are caught in its area of affect.

Bullet Bill

This item will turn you into the Bullet Bill, where you dash forward, destroying any opponent in your path. Useful for using when you have a lot of opponents ahead of you and want to crush as many as you can in one go.

Lightning

This is a useful item that will allow you to knock out and spin all the opponents in the course. It also reduces the sizes of the opponents and makes them slower.

Blooper

This item will throw out a jet of ink at the opponent’s face, effectively blinding them for a small period of time. The only way to remove the ink from the screen is by wiping it off from our mobile screen.

Mega Mushroom

This item will turn your kart bigger, allowing you to drive over and crush your opponents as your speed is also increased.

Mushroom

This will give you a speed boost once you activate it. It works best when you use them for that short burst of speed to take the lead, or when driving through shortcuts.

Coin

This is just a coin that you can pick up and save in your inventory. It is never enough to have as many Coins as you can, so make sure you can have as many as you can.

  1. I don’t think 2 to 3 sentences per item is that ‘detailed’ (For example: I would like to see in what position you’re most likely to get an item), and you also missed alot of the items that can be obtained by specific characters in the game so this are not ‘all items’. Please make this guide more detailed as you say in your title, and also make sure you add ALL items, just like you say in your title!
