The next step is collect the materials which include the rare Orichalcum+ to craft the weapon for yourself. It is also worth mentioning that the weapon is an endgame item that cannot be obtained if you haven’t finished the game.

Below we have listed how you can get the Ultima weapon recipe, what materials you require to craft the keyblade, and what ways you can collect Orichalcum+.

Ultima Weapon Recipe

To unlock the recipe for Ultima keyblade, you are required to collect 58 different synthesis materials. These are material dropped by enemies when you defeat them, they are found in treasure chests, or from destroying space rocks with your gummi ship.

Once you have all the 58 different types of materials in your inventory, you need to go to Moogle Workshop. There you will see the Ultima Weapon as an unlock in the Collector’s Goals menu.

Unlock the recipe, which is the first step in getting to Ultima keyblade.

Crafting Ultima Keyblade

With the recipe in hand that you need to craft Ultima, you can now look into the ingredients needed to craft the weapon.

The ingredients required to craft Ultima Keyblade are:

  • 2 Pulsing Crystals
  • 2 Lucid Crystals
  • 2 Wellspring Crystals
  • 7 Orichalcum+

The Orichalcum+ is the hardest part of the whole Ultima crafting process. Acquiring Orichalcum+ is tricky and requires you to do many task to collect 7 of them.

How to Get Orichalcum+

There are seven ways you can collect Orichalcum+ in the game. Below we have listed all the activities that can help you get the material you are looking for.

Flantastic Seven

These are side missions that can be played after you have completed each of the worlds they are in in. though there are 7 fruits that can be taken from the Flantastic Seven, you are required to get 3 to get your Orichalcum+.

Frozen Slider

This is a minigame in Arendelle that requires you to find all 10 Treasures. The minigame can be started by talking to your friends at the Mountain Ridge fast travel point in Arendelle. It is only accessible after you have completed this world.

Completing and getting all the 10 Treasures will give you Orichalcum+ material.

Gummi Ship

The third galaxy that you visit is The Eclipse Galaxy where you have to fight Omega Machine boss. He is a tough boss to beat but will reward you with the material you are looking for if you defeat the boss.

Lucky Emblems

These are symbols that resemble the shape of Mickey’s head that you can find all throughout the worlds in the game. you are required to take the photograph of each emblem that you can find.

The game has 90 emblems altogether, however you are required to take the photograph of at least 80 to get your Orichalcum+.

Moogle Shop Postcard

The more money you spend at the Moogle Shop the more you will get Postcards as a free bonus. If you post these cards next to the Moogle Shop in Twilight Town, you stand for a chance to earn Orichalcum+

Final Treasure Chest

This is the chest that you get the Orichalcum+ from after you end the story of the game in The Final World. There is only one treasure chest in this world and it contains the material needed for Ultima.

Once you have all the materials at the ready, and all seven Orichalcum+, you can then craft Ultima in the Synthesis section of the Moogle Workshop.
