Parry Guide – Kena Bridge of Spirits
Our Kena Bridge of Spirits Parry Guide details everything that you need to know about parry in Kena Bridge of Spirits.
How to Parry in Kena Bridge of Spirits
For landing a parry in Kena Bridge of Spirits, you have to be very precise with your timing. Just before an enemy attack lands on you, you must block the attack with your shield right before the attack connects with you. This perfect timing block will allow you to parry the incoming attack and will throw the attacking enemy off-balance, giving you a window to hit the enemies back.
The game also changes the camera angle by zooming in to show Kena use a Spirit Blast to knock away enemies showing a perfect parry. This is your best queue of a successful parry and when it happens, you must be ready to counterattack before the enemies recover. Since each enemy in the game has its own unique attack speed, you have to make sure that you are timing the block right to parry their attack.
To make your parry even more effective in the game, you can spend 150 Karma and upgrade your parry to add a powerful spinning attack that you can land on your enemies after every successful parry. This completes your parry with a follow-up attack which is faster than a normal attack and deals a decent amount of damage to your enemies as well. Make sure that you practice to parry as soon as you start playing the game because it will help you a lot down the road.
