Unlocking fast travel in Kena Bridge of Spirits is actually linked to the main story in the title. As you continue playing the main story, you will eventually arrive at a warp point. Going near the warp point will unlock the warp point for you and it will be marked on your map as well with its own icon. Once it is marked, you must progress in the story and unlock another warp point further down the map as well.
Once you have unlocked two different warp points, you can head to any one of them and select the other one to quickly fast travel to that other warp point. As you continue to progress in the main story and unlock even more warp points, you can fast travel quickly between all of them. Make sure that you initiate fast travel from a warp point.
