In this Judgment Side Missions Guide, we will show you how you can complete all the side missions or Side Cases in the game. Side Cases are extra missions that you can engage in for more money and SP.
Side Cases are different from the story missions, but some of them are required to be done in order to progress in the story. Our guide will tell you the details of each side case and how you can complete them. We will also highlight what rewards you will be getting after the completion of every side mission.

Genda Law Office
All the side cases from Genda Law Office are listed below:
Side Case Mission #1 – “Infidelity Investigation” The Darkest Place
This mission is given to you in the second chapter of the game, and it involves a woman who wants you to investigate his cheating husband. You have to tail the man and take a picture of him with the other woman he is cheating with when he enters the red brick hotel.
Once they exit, you have to tail the woman until you find out where she goes. When you are done, you need to go back to the office and report to the client to end the case.
Reward: 150 SP, 80,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #2 – “Second Infidelity Investigation” Way of the Detective
The second mission is also regarding tailing another man. For this mission, you should be at Level 40 of City Reputation. You have to go to East Shichifuku Street where you need to tail the man and take a picture of him with another woman.
You will then encounter another investigator who will want to take the picture off from you to blackmail the cheating man. You have to decide whatever you want from here. If you decide not to hand over the picture, you have to fight the investigator. Once done, you can go back to the office and talk to the client.
Reward: 150 SP, 80,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #3 – Searching for Missing Nephew
This mission requires Level 30 of City Reputation. A client will ask you to find her nephew for her who has not contacted her for a long time. Once you have the location of the last location, you need to go to this location as marked on your map.
When you reach him and talk to him, he will head off. Make sure not to spook him which will make him run off. Follow him until you see he will want to fight you. Calm him down and this will end the mission.
Reward: 100 SP, 120,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #4 – The Ghost Tenant
This side mission requires you to complete “The Darkest Hour” side case mission. A client wants you to check out on the apartment he is planning to rent. He thinks the hotel is haunted and you have to stay a night to investigate.
Check for clues and see if there has been any intrusion. You have to check some images of the room to spot whether there has been anyone inside the room recently. When Yagami is sleeping, you will wake up to a woman wearing a white dress. You have to chase and catch her to complete the case.
Reward: 80 SP, 80,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #5 – The Devil Wife
For this case, you will meet a woman named Shizue at Café Alps, where she explains about his son’s wife trying to put him into many accidents for insurance fraud. Your job is to investigate the wife and go to M Side Café where she works. You will find her standing near the stairs at the seating area.
At this point, a man will come to talk to you, who will tell you about her past. Her husband then walks in the café and you have to eavesdrop to listen to the conversation. Your next task is to investigate the coffee, where you will see white powder. Head out the building where you have to meet a man. The location will be marked on the map. Once you get to him you need to talk to him. A suspicious man will be directly above him at the roof.
You need to tail this person, and you will find that the suspicious man is a waiter from another café who is stalking the wife for 3 years. beat him up and talk to the mother to complete the case.
Reward: 100 SP, 80,000
Side Case Mission #6 – Justice is Sweet
You will get this mission once you reach Chapter 4, as it is required to be done for the main story progression of the game.
The mission requires you to first investigate the fridge for melting ice and then examining the trash can beside the couch to see if it has all been emptied. You then have to investigate the kitchen sink to find milk cartons.
At this point, a trial will begin where you have to find if Hoshino is guilty of eating the cake. First, choose the Empty Trash Can, then select objection when Mafuyu presents a new clue. Select Saori’s Milk Carton as evidence and then select the notice about the Power Outage. In the end, select nobody as the culprit of the missing cake.
Reward: 120 SP, 50,000 Yen.
Yagami Detective Agency
All the side cases missions of Yagami Detective Agency are detailed below:
Side Case Mission #1 – The Twisted Trio: Panty Professor
This case is available after you complete “The Darkest Place” side case.
The first thing you have to do is choose “Do it for the sake of the investigation” as this will give information about the right kind of panty to set the trap. Now you need to go to Le Marche on the south part of the map to purchase the panties. Now head back to the office to set the trap, and then go to the batting cages on the north to find the culprit. You can do this by taking the stairs in the back of the building.
Reward: 80 SP, 50,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #2 – Tiger Jacket
You need to speak to the man that is upstairs in Wild Jackson. Now go to the Children’s Park in search for the jacket. Talk to the man sitting on the bench, and the homeless men. They will ask you for Bento in return. They will tell you that some kids have taken the bag and you have to find them.
If you have completed the panty thief mission, you have to meet Yosuke in the smoking room of Kamuro Theater where he will talk about the culprit in the batting cages. Go to this area and talk to the group of guys standing there. Talk to them about the yellow bag, and select the watch on the left hand of the guy in the white vest. Select the options where it says the owner’s initials are engraved on the watch.
Fight the group and then get the watch and wallet. Now head over to the southwest corner in the Champion District where you need to find the bag. Find the homes man wearing the jacket and complete his request.
Reward: 100 SP, 50,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #3 – The Twisted Groper
To get this side case, you need to complete the panty thief mission. this mission starts as soon as you accept it from the board. When the case starts, you will go into investigation mode, where you will spot the guy in a tracksuit who will walk across the street and stand behind Yosuke. You have to chase him and then catch him. Beat him up to finish this mission.
Reward: 100 SP, 50,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #4 – The Twisted Judge
For this case, you need to meet Yosuke in the M Side Café. Yosuke will tll you about the trio wanting to mess with his sister. You have to go toe parking spot int eh Hotel District to find clues. Look up the wall where you will find a guy in a black suit. Shoot him down while he tries to run. You have to beat him up and knock him down. Get him arrested and the case will be over.
Reward: 150 SP, 50,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #5 – The Mystery Writer’s Stratagem
In this side case, a man will ask you to attend a press conference for a book release. You have to solve the riddle to decide who gets the publish the book. Solve the math riddle where you need to put int eh safe combination. The code is 4134. Take the manuscript and the case will be completed
Reward: 80 SP, 180,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #6 – The Mystery Writer’s Gambit
The publisher will ask you to solve another riddle, the safe combination is 3412.
Reward: 100 SP, 210,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #7 – The Mystery Writer’s Masterstroke
The final riddle by the publisher requires you to solve yet another riddle. You can unlock the safe by putting in the correct combination. The code is 8925.
Reward: 120 SP, 380,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #8 – Queen of Hearts
In this case, you have to find a missing woman. Go talk to Tsukumo in the Mantai Internet Café. He will ask you to go pick a package from Poppo on Showa Street. Return the packages for the information.
He will tell you that the woman is working at the Poppo on East Shichifuku Street. Go talk to the woman and then call the client. Head back to the woman and fight one knife-wielding enemy to complete the mission.
Side Case Mission #9 – Revenge of the Keihin Gang
You need to defeat all the Keihin Gang leaders for this side case. Meet the client at the roofs of Café Alps. Here you will be attacked by a group of thugs. Once defeated, go the next roof where you need to put on a disguise to talk to Kim.
Next, you have to go to the next marked location to find out the gun selling gang. At the Apple Pie, a woman will tell you where the people are buying guns. At this point, you will have to fight Sakakiba.
Now you must go to the gun seller and tail him. he will go to Wette Kitchen where you need to fight more thugs. Tail the gun seller again till he reaches Children’s Park. Next, you will head into the sewers to fight Honda, and then the last fight with Koga. Once you have done all those, your case will be completed

Side Case Mission #10 – Dangerous Hide-and-Seek
A client will need your help to locate his son who is lost while playing hide and seek. You need to go to the back alley that he shows. You can find his son in the southeast part of the Champion District. You will find the boy sitting on an AC unit on the fourth floor. The case will be completed one you spot the boy.
Reward: 80 SP, 80,000 yen
Side Case Mission #11 – Perilous Hide-and-Seek
Ohata will ask you to find his boy again, so you have to meet him at Café Mijore. Head to the market spot and interact with it. Look straight up the top of the crane where you will spot him.
Reward: 100 SP, 100,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #12 – Treacherous Hide-and-Seek
The last time you have to search for the boy and you should go to West Taihei Blvd. In front of the elevator in the building is a spot to look. Now go up to the second floor using the elevator. Head into the office where you need to fight some yakuza. Now you should go out to meet Ohata and complete the mission.
Reward: 130 SP, 120,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #13 – A Final Request
This is a very tough fight in this mission so its best to keep your inventory filled with health items. An opponent will ask you to fight him, and you will go to an arena where the battle is set to commence. The man will fight in three phases so you have to be aware of his attacks.
Rewards: 300 SP, 1,000,000 Yen
Bar Tender
All the side cases of Bar Tender are detailed below:
Side Case Mission #1 – Underneath the Mask
This side case is given to you when you reach Chapter 3 and go to meet Tender to meet Ayabe. For this side case, you will meet a client over at Hills Garden. These will be some masked boys who will want you to find one of the missing person.
Go to the marked locations where you will have to fight against a group of enemies. Then you have to present evidence, where you should pick up the Used Item. Now you have to fight the single person to finish the case.
Reward: 100 SP, 50,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #2 – Under the Table Politics
For this mission, you need to go to Hiranuma in the Beef Zone restaurant, where he tells you about the money transfer between two politicians. Your task is to go to the restaurant where they will be meeting. When you are at the location, you need to snap a picture when Miki grabs the other guy and starts tossing him around.
Before you try to get away, you have to fight Miki and his guards. Once you complete the fight, return to Hiranuma.
Reward: 120 SP, 150,000 yen.
Side Case Mission #3 – Morale and Morals
In this case, you will meet a young lady who will have to sneak into the office to get evidence of sexual harassment. Go to the marked location that will be in front of Modern Mahjong building, and then go up to the 4th floor. Take the janitor disguise and take pictures of Iseya harassing Rei. When you get out of the office, fly your drone up to the window to take more pictures.
When you are done, run up to help Rei and then fight the janitor. The case is complete after you have beaten the janitor.
Reward: 150 SP, 80,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #4 – Interview with a Detective
A client for this case can is found on the 6th floor of Hotel New Deborah. The client will want you to pose as a decoy to draw attention away from a performer. Head to the marked location south of Kamurocho Hills and put on the costume.
Now you need to respond with the “Offer unto me your pulsing blood” catchphrase, When you are stopped by the media, go through all the conversation with them. Change your outfit and then leave the premise to complete this side mission.
Reward: 100SP, 140,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #5 – Honey Trap
At the office, a man named Hyuga will want your help to clear his name after he has slept with an underaged girl. Get more information about the girl and then go to Bantam to try to get further information.
At the Bantam, talk to the guy standing off to the side of the bar where you can talk. He will give you the girl’s Chatter handle. The clues will take you to Wette Kitchen, where you need to go upstairs to look for her. The girl with the brown hair is the girl. Follow her where you will find the setup. The case will end after the small scuffle.
Reward: 100SP, 150,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #6 – Sashimi of the Fallen
In this side case, you need to talk to the guy outside Koi Bride. He will show you that someone has broken inside his property. Investigate the fish and look at all the plated fish on the table and the bowl of ice. Investigate the Sushi restaurant and see who is behind all of this.
Go to Sushi Gin and speak to the owner. He will tell you of a man he has fired earlier. The chef will ask you to go to pachinko parlor to look for the man. This parlor is south of Theater Square. Speak to the man outside and chase after him. Beat him up to complete this mission.
Reward: 150 SP, 80,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #7 – Secrets of Cats
Go to the roof of Modern Mahjong building where a man will meet you. He wants you to locate a valuable cat for some reasons. Go to the third floor of the building where there is a shop with cats inside. Talk to the manager who will tell you that the cat was seen at Taihei Blvd.
Head to the marked area where you will hear the cat in this area. Walk near the green power box and look up where the cat is on top of the light fixture. The cat wanders away and will lead you to the Millennium Tower. Before you can get the cat, a few enemies will come fight you. Fight them and then decide to give it to another man offering more money. If you don’t give them, they will fight you and you can return with the cat.
Reward: 120 SP, 400,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #8 – The Socialite’s Secret
Go to Tender and talk to Mari to participate in a bet. Examine her appearance and deduce that she is not married and does not have a job. Tail her and find what her job is. Now you need to put on a disguise and continue following her after she spots you.
You will end up outside Koi Bride where you can then head inside to see Mari walking down the stairs. Head downstairs and go into L’Amant to end the case

Around Town
All the side cases around town are detailed below:
Side Case Mission #1 – The Pigeon Takes Flight
This case is given to you in chapter 2, after you meet a man flying his drone.
Side Case Mission #2 – Kamurocho’s Mad Bomber
This case is found in the alley that is south of your office. To find the first bomb, you need to go to the alley closer to the white car. Disarm the bomb and you will be called by the bomber. Now you need to find another bomb before it blows up
Head to the Earth Angel restaurant in champion District where the bomb will be right outside.
Reward: 80 SP
Side Case Mission #3 – Gone with the Breeze
This case can be found right after chapter 3, outside Game Center Charles. You need to go the marked area outside Charles where you will see an object blow past. Go over to it and speak to the man who wants you to go after his Hat. Complete the chase and get the hat back to the man to end this mission.
Reward: 80 SP, 50,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #4 – Gone with the Gust
This case is again in the same spot, and you have to chase the blown hat again.
Reward: 80 SP, 50,000 Yen.
Side Case Mission #5 – A VR Game of Dice
Go to the VR Arcade to start this case automatically. This will introduce you to the Dice and Cube and its rules. Complete the game to end this case.
Side Case Mission #6 – The Mad Bomber Strikes Again
You find this case when you are on the road that is West of Kamuro Theater. You should go to Akaushimaru Hotel District, where there is a small shop in the northwestern part of the map. head there to disarm the bomb and complete this case.
Reward: 100 SP
Side Case Mission #7 – Entrapment
This case is found at the north end of the middle alleyway in Champion District. You will meet a guy who is trying to get you to come into his bar for a drink. Pay the bill if you decide to after the drinks.
If you decide to pay, look for the women and investigate her necklace, face, the bill and the cash register. Exit the bar and follow the woman. When you reach where she is headed, take a picture of her with the man to use as blackmail to get your money back.
After taking the picture, fight the man and take the money back from the woman.
Reward: 120 SP
Side Case Mission #8 – The Black Calamity
This side case is found north of Senryo Ave. which is on the southeast part of the map. You need to find a fortune teller called Amane, who will make predictions about your future. When a client walks in and runs away, you need to follow him to help him out.
Go to Pink Street where you will find a group of men standing. You have to spot Meguro standing in the back. Tail him as he gets scared of the black objects. When you lost track of him, head forward and then to the left down the middle alley of Champion District. You will find him here again. Beat up the guy that tries to extort him and return to Amane to complete the case.
Reward: 120 SP
Side Case Mission #9 – Partners
Yagami agrees to let Kaito go and work Bodyguard for an old school friend named Adachi. A bit of time apparently passes and you need to go check on them at the address of Adachi’s company.
It won’t be marked on the map, but you should head over to the location indicated on his business card, Tenkaichi Alley, Yoshikawa Building, 3F. Head over there and you’ll see Kaito with a bunch of injured looking guys on the ground around him.
You can head up to the Turtle Financing break room for one intel source. Talk to Kamaguchi and he’ll basically tell you Adachi is a bad dude, and you’ll then have to go speak to Kaito about it. You’ll next need to go to Kanrai to check up on what he’s up to.
When you get inside, put on your Stakeout disguise before heading near them to eavesdrop. You’ll meet Kaito outside, then have to fight him to stop him going with Adachi. You then have to fight Adachi and a group of thugs he calls over. You have a nice interaction with Kaito, then end the case.
Reward: 150 SP
Side Case Mission #10 – Return of the Mad Bomber
This case is found at the north east corner of Millenium Tower building. You will find Tsukumo here, who will tell you the case.
After a short conversation with Tsukumo you’ll get another call from the bomber. You’ll have to find the bomb with the hint “The pigeon coos amongst the cherry blossoms”. This should lead you to Poppo (Showa St.) (even though Yagami says it’s on Pink street if you take too long and get a hint). You’ll stop the last bomb, then Tsukumo will show up and point out that the man in the store is actually the bomber, and then you have to beat him up.
Reward: 150 SP
Side Case Mission #11 – Amidst a Dream
Talk to the girl playing the guitar at the Theater Square area during the day. Speak to the girl and buy her CD. Head to the Tender Bar and find her inside and compliment on her singing voice. After she plays a song for you, head out where a guy will come and talk to you saying that he is the producer that Sana talked to.
Sana will tell you that the man wants her to engage in bad activities with the CEO of his company. Help her out and track the man. Go to the marked location East of Theater Square. Now follow him to Café Mijore where he meets with another man.
Put on your Stakeout disguise and head inside to eavesdrop on them. Now you need to go back to Theater Square and talk to Sana. She will say that some men are forcing into her office. Check the card and go to Taihei Blvd East, Ishiyama Building. Beat up the men and rescue Sana.
Reward: 150 SP
Side Case Mission #12 – Gone with the Gale
This side case is found in the front of the locksmith store that is west of the map, East Taihei Blvd. You have to return the hat to Tokunga again. This time when Tokunaga lost it, someone else managed to lose their hat at the same time, but has retrieved Tokunaga’s instead. First you need to tail the man, where he’ll stop at a few locations where Yagami muses that he seems to want to be a host.
Once the tailing is complete, the hat will get blown off his head just like it always seems to, and you’ll have to chase it down. Once you catch it the Yakuza man will come up and try to take it back before you can explain what’s going on. After you beat him up both him and Tokunaga seem convinced Yagami also wears a wig, but the case will end.
Reward: 100 SP, 150,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #13 – The Black and White Calamity
This side case is found north of Senryo Ave. Amane will stop you and talk to you about another calamity in the future of Meguro. Locate him on the West end of Tenkaichi Alley. Follow him until he reaches back to Amane. Beat him up when he tries to hurt Amane and then wait for the police to take him away.
Reward: 150 SP, 15,000 yen.
Side Case Mission #14 – Smart Watching
This can be found in front of KJ Art where a man would be approaching a woman aggressively. The woman will be Nanami, who will ask you to contact you to deal with the stalker later. When she texts you, she will say that she has been kidnapped by the stalker.
Go to the alley behind the Detective Agency where the van is. Open the door and the alarm with go off. Now you have to pick the lock within 2 minutes. When the stalker returns, beat him up and rescue Nanami.
Rewards: 120 SP
Side Case Mission #15 – Captain Cop
This case is given to you in Chapter 7 when you are waiting for Saori in Club Rouge.
Reward: 120 SP
Side Case Mission #16 – Burger Fugitive
This case is found at the Taihei Blvd intersection in Chapter 8. Gamo can be found in the Cafe Alps alleyway, sitting by a burning barrel eating a burger. When you interact with him you have to fight him, so don’t do it if you’re ill prepared.
He has 5 bars of health and hits extremely hard, so make sure to engage in full use of the area and all the available objects when fighting him. Remember you can pause and use items from in your phone inventory to heal or pop supplements, so make use of them if you need.
He guards a lot, so popping a Thunderstrike Extract to continually stun him and break his guard isn’t a bad idea. Once you beat him he goes surprisingly peacefully, and you get a very sizeable reward.
Reward: 300 SP, 1,200,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #17 – Gone in 20 Minutes
This case is found at the Yagami Detective Agency. The woman from the ghost apartment will come to you and say that her boyfriend is missing without any contact for hours.
Go to Theater Square where you need to check on him. His phone will be on the ground at the location. Pick it up and someone will call you and want you to come to Kamurocho Hills. When you get there, you will be gone to chase the Hat again. Catch the hat and return to the group to end the case
Reward: 80 SP, 80,000 yen
Side Case Mission #18 – Love and Madness
This case is also found at the Yagami Detective Agency, where you will find Rie.
Rie says there is a man threatening to jump off the roof of the building and asks you to try and talk him down. Once up there respond with the following:
- What’s your name
- Why do you want to kill yourself?
He then explains he thinks his girlfriend is cheating on him and wants you to go confirm. You’ll have to head to the Smile Burger just up the road to go do some detective work. Interact with the girl on the left to spot her speaking to a guy who walks in. She’ll get off work, then you have to tail the two of them to a sweets shop. They head up to the top floor of the Kamuro Theater and you have to snap a picture of the moment they kiss, then head back to the office. When there choose to tell the truth, then some stuff will happen and you’ll finish the case.
Reward: 120 SP, 80,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #19 – Worst Birthday Ever
You will get this case by a very drunk woman who will be found inside Kanrai. Here you will find a couple with a very drunk woman and a man dressed as a pilot. She thinks you are her husband, and her husband wants you to stay with her for dinner instead. The husband will then go do his job.
When she talks to you, respond with “The Captain” and “She’s mistaken.” Once her husband returns, the case is completed.
Reward: 70 SP, 80,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #20 – The Fire Calamity
This case is found north of Senryo Ave. which will be at the south east part of the map. It is accessible after The Black and White Calamity case.
You will find Amane kneeling on the road. She will tell you how she tried to warn someone about the Calamity but he hit her and ran away towards Showa Street. Head to the marked location and track the man. When he goes through a small gap, he will look to check back. Follow him only after he is convinced he is not being followed.
You will realize that he is an arsonist and is trying to burn down Little Asia. Return to Amane to finish the mission.
Reward: 150 SP, 15,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #21 – The Pervert King
This case is found at the Tenkaichi Alley and Tenkachi Street intersection. There’s one last pervert on the loose, and he’s the big bad who’s seemed to move in on the territory of the others after you put them away. You’ll first be at your office trying to determine where he would be.
Select the part of the map up near Hotel District, as that’s where you just busted the last of the twisted trio. Head over there to the marked area where you’ll then have to spot him. I man in a face mask in a dark coat will walk from the street in front of you then stop and look at the other girl, he is the one you’re trying to spot.
After you spot him you tail him around until he heads into an alley where he promptly exposes himself to a woman. You then have to chase him down, then give him a good beating.
Reward: 200 SP, 50,000 Yen
Side Case Mission #22 – The Ono Michio Bandit
This case is found at the west side of Theater Square. You have to interact with the crowd that is in front of a guy in a costume. This is the first time you will see the man in the suit.
Next, you have to go to the marked location towards the south of Kamurocho Hills. Go there and you will see a mascot run by holding a knife and a bag. Now you have to go to the Game Center Charles and speak to the guys who were chasing him, then head over to Charles.
When inside go out near the costume and look at the Knife, Fish Pouch, Duffle bag, and Head. Then select White Pants, White Gloves, and Shoes for what’s missing. Now when back inside, and you basically want to check every spot on everyone. Each of the four people’s shoes, and bags, pants, etc. You also want to check the Trash Can to the left of Nishimura which will have the shoes in it that the robber used.
The correct person to accuse is Kaneda (the guy in the red cardigan) because he was wearing white pants and has an inexplicable lack of proper shoes. For evidence for select the shoes in the garbage, then the sandals he’s wearing. The guy in the suit will then try to sneak away, but you should stop him and then say he’s the debt collector which is where the money has gone. You’ll have to beat him up, which will end the case.

Side Case Mission #23 – The Mission Diamond
This case is found inside Hotel New Deborah, when Genda calls and asks you to take the case from him. Speak to the lady in the lobby of the hotel. she is a friend of Genda who wants you to find her purse that contains a ring from her husband.
Go to Ebisu Pawn to see if the ring is there, the owner says that he would not buy the ring, but the man came back later that night to also buy a chef’s knife. You need to go to the Sushi restaurant to get more information.
Head back to Sushi Gin and speak to the owner, and end the case. This case is also related to the Sashimi of the Fallen side case, as it is the same person responsible for the break-in in the restaurant.
