Impaler is developed by a solo developer and is excited to announce his first-ever crossover with the shooter Project Warlock. Releasing on December 6, 2022, Impaler is a minimalistic arena shooter with plenty of spikes. You will defeat hordes of monsters by summoning spikes, building barriers, and reaching higher ground thanks to the unique gameplay mechanics of the game. It features roguelike mechanics as well so each run in Impaler is unique and different from your previous ones to ensure that you are always facing a new challenge. Impaler features fast-paced gameplay which forces you to be always on the move as you shoot demons and summon spikes to defeat all of them.

For this game, Apptivus developed a custom-built engine which was a weekend passion project for the developer, and it took 4 long years to reach completion. The studio Apptivus features only one developer who has been working on the game from the start to its finish. The original Project Warlock was released back in 2018 and the game received a second title back in July 2022 as well named Project Warlock II. This crossover is with the first game of the franchise, and it arrives right when the game is celebrating its fourth anniversary.
