Players looking to upgrade their Shogun weapons in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will want to get their hands on as many Fine Black Pearl they can find. This is because thos special type of part will let you craft some decent Shogun weapons. Let’s take a look at how you can get Fine Black Pearls in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. 

How to Get Fine Black Pearl in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak 

To put it simply, the only way you can get a Fine Black Pearl in the game is from any Shogun Ceanataur in the Sunbreak expansion. When you each Rank 3 in the expansion, you can then find this blue crab looking creature, that will allow you to get Fine Black Pearls as dropped parts. 

Having said that, the item is a pretty rare drop, where some methods of approach have a slimmer chance of obtaining a pearl. The best way that gives you the best chance of finding Fine Black Pearls is by beating a Ceantaurus Shogun, and letting it drop its parts. These dropped parts can contain a Fine Black Pearl for you to collect. When an item drops to the ground, make sure you manually collect it to add it to your inventory. 

As dropped item have a 25% chance of getting you the item, you can also capture the Shogun which gives you a 15% chance of getting the reward. Capturing a Shogun Ceanataur requires you to damage the creature enough for the game to allow capture using traps. When a Shogun Ceanataur can be captured, it will display an icon over it, indicating that you can now capture it when in range.
