The best place to farm Mysterious Mushrooms is in the swamp area located in the top left region of the map. The exact coordinates of the location are -463, 175. Here you will find a large number of giant mushrooms spread throughout the area.

Once you arrive, begin harvesting the mushrooms you see around the swamp. Several different tools can be used to gather the mushroom clusters. A Pickaxe is preferred, but a simple axe will also work if you have that available. But the most effective tool for harvesting the mushrooms is a Plasma Cutter.

Once you have collected the Mushroom Clusters, you have to break them, as breaking these mushroom clusters rewards more than one resource. You have a chance to get Mysterious Mushrooms as well, along with the regular ones.
