Madmind Studio has released a brand-new trailer for their upcoming first-person survival horror game PARANOID which is set in the 80s. PARANOID combines an extensive, psychological story with dynamic and brutal combat and will release exclusively on Steam. According to the developer, the game is developed with next-gen in mind and features raytracing and 4K resolution.
The game revolves around the story of Patrick and shows his struggles with a progressing mental illness. The voices in Patrick’s head continue to grow stronger and they are affecting his behavior and pushing him towards the unthinkable. Patrick Calman is a 31-year old man who had lost his entire family under mysterious circumstances. His parents died violently and his sister went missing suddenly.
All of this is too much for Patrick to handle and his psyche gets destroyed in the process. Because of this mental illness, his own apartment is now his prison. However, one day his sister calls him up and announces her comeback after 13 years. To learn the truth, Patrick must now leave his secluded life and expose himself to the horrible experiences that will test his last remaining sanity. Check out the new trailer below:
