Indie developer CarloC Games has announced the demo launch of its upcoming title Full Metal Sergeant in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. Starting February 6, 2023, players will be able to download and try out a free demo of Full Metal Sergeant that will allow them to try out a small slice of the full game before it comes out later this year. Full Metal Sergeant is a management/strategy game inspired by the movie Full Metal Jacket. The developer of the game also released a trailer for the game that you can check out below:
Full Metal Sergeant is a unique management/strategy title where you are required to train an entire battalion of soldiers in just 12 days. Since war is creeping on you, you have to complete all of the military exercises before the war begins and then you have to complete the main mission of the game as well where you will lead them into the battle. While during training you need to have a good balance between training and relaxing as pressuring your recruits too much might decrease their morale. On the plus side, you are free to insult your recruits as much as you want because that is part of the training.
Full Metal Sergeant was initially planned for release at the end of 20222 however it was later pushed into 2023. CarloC Games is now aiming for the end of March, the start of April window for the game’s launch. You can check out the gameplay trailer for Full Metal Sergeant as well which was released previously. You can head to Steam and check out the game’s official page where you can add the game to your wishlist if it interests you and download the free demo as well.
