As you play Elden Ring, you will come across a quest that will require you to find a special item called Deathroot. This Elden Ring Deathroot Guide will help you on how you can locate the item easily in the game. Since Elden Ring offers an open-world, it could become a little overwhelming as to where to look for Deathroot.
Deathroot Guide – Elden Ring
In Elden Ring, you will find Deathroot on a specific character and this is the only source of getting this quest item for the game. The particular NPC who has Deathroot is called Tibia Mariner and he has a purple aura around him. Once you approach this NPC, you will find him inside a boat, and he has the ability to summon dead people for his help. As soon as you initiate the fight, you will find yourself fighting with the undead as well.
An exact location of Tibia Mariner is not known in the game however you will need to search for him in large water bodies because he is inside a boat. If you do not find him at the start, do not worry. You will eventually find him somewhere on your quest so just keep a lookout for him in water bodies all over the game. For getting the Deathroot, you will need to defeat the NPC, and once done, you will get the item. Depending on your luck, you may get another item with the Deathroot as well. It is completely random so it depends on your luck.
