Dying Light 2 comes with a more refined Skills system that has now introduced two new skill trees which are Combat and Parkour. Both these features are essential to the gameplay that Dying Light offers. In each of these skill trees, there are various skills that can be unlocked using Skill Points, obtained when you level up in the game. Air Kick When dropping onto enemies from above, nail them with a power kick
Vault Power Add force to your Vault Kick and send enemies flying. Requires Vault Power Kick skill.
Head Stomp Headstomp enemies that lay on the ground. Requires Vault Power Kick
Dropkick Perform a powerful kick while jumping
Perfect Dodge Dodge at just the right time to stagger your enemy
Grapple Use the momentum of attacking enemies to throw them to the side. Requires Perfect Dodge
Grapple Throw Increase the momentum of enemies thrown with Grapple to knock them to the ground. Requires Grapple.
Power Attack Perform a power attack that deals more damage, interrupts enemy attacks and blocks
Windmill Perform a powerful attack that hits all enemies around you. Requires Power Attack
Ground Pound Perform a powerful attack while in mid-air. Requires Power Attack
Perfect Parry Perform a perfect block to stagger your enemy for longer and trigger a slo-mo effect
Block Projectiles Block incoming projectiles like knives and arrows. Requires Perfect Parry
Deflect Projectiles Deflect an incoming projectile and send it back to your attacker. Requires Block Projectiles
Block Charge When blocking, charge at an enemy in front of you and knock them to the ground. Requires Perfect Parry
Stab Quickly take down an unaware enemy
Stab Followup Automatically throw a knife at another enemy after performing Stab. Requires Stab
Ledge Takedown Quickly take down enemies by pulling them down from a ledge. Requires Stab Followup
Smash Smash enemy hands while dropping onto them from above
Smash Jump Perform a jump right after Smash, giving you the opportunity to follow-up with another aerial attack. Requires Smash
Precise Aiming Increase your aim with all ranged weapons
Power Shot Adds piercing and bonus damage to all ranged weapon shots. Requires Precise Aiming
Serial Shot Allows you to fire up to 3 projectiles at the same time. Requires Power Shot
Parkour Shot Gain the ability to use ranged weapons while parkouring. Requires Precise Aiming.
