Devil May Cry 5 Will Take 15 Hours to Complete, Vergil Might Be Playable

Matchmaking Devil May Cry 5

The developer of Devil May Cry 5, Hideaki Itsuno, has revealed recently in a Q&A session that DMC5 will take around 15 hours to complete. This makes it the longest Devil May Cry game in the franchise to date. Itsuno also mentioned that Devil May Cry 5 could get new playable characters and that could include Vergil.

This was revealed by Itsuno while an exclusive press session in Seoul. He was specifically asked the question that how long will the latest Devil May Cry game take to complete and he answered that after internal playtests, the game time is around 15 hours long. This is a pretty decent time for any game and longest one as well in the Devil May Cry franchise.

Along with this, Itsuno also announced that they might add more playable characters to Devil May Cry 5 if the fans demand it. At this moment, there are three playable characters in the game which include Dante, Nero and the newly revealed V which is coming to the franchise for the first time.

Vergil is supposed to be part of Devil May Cry 5 from what we have seen so far but fans also want him to be a playable character. Vergil is usually playable once you have finished the game. If more characters are going to be added to Devil May Cry 5 then Vergil might as well be one of them.

At this moment it is not known that these new playable characters will be new or characters that are already part of the franchise. However, we can surely hope that the game receives decent post-launch support because so far the game looks amazing and we would love to have more content for it in the future as well.

Devil May Cry 5 received an Xbox One exclusive demo recently but that has been pulled from the store because Capcom revealed that a brand new demo is heading to both PS4 and Xbox One next month. However, there is still no word on a PC demo which is making PC fans of the franchise very sad and impatient for the game’s release so that they can experience the game as well.

Devil May Cry 5 is slated for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 8, 2019. Let us know what you think about the game and whether or not you would like to play as Vergil in Devil May Cry 5.
