Deathloop Weapons Guide

Below we have detailed all the weapons and also listed some of the best ones you need to get.

Tribunal

The Tribunal is an effective semi-auto pistol, known for its low recoil and accuracy, that takes small caliber ammo to fire shots at the enemy. It can be further increased in its accuracy and damage by using the Lightning Strike and Sure Shot Trinkets on the weapon.

The Tribunal is a common weapon that you will find almost everywhere in most maps but will be more so in the early stages of the game.

LIMP-10

If you are looking to take down multiple enemies, then this one-handed SMG is the best at spraying down bullets downrange. Though it may not be one of the best weapons the game has to offer, it does the job right when used in a tight situation.

This weapon also takes small caliber ammo, which the gun eats away very quickly. However, you can be more effective with it if you attach the Shock Absorber trinket to the gun which will reduce the recoil.

PT-6 Spiker

This is a small yet nifty silent pistol that lets you take quietly take down enemies and is pretty common, which means that you can pretty much find it anywhere. The PT-6 Spiker uses nails as its ammo, which lets you shoot silent bullets, but works even better if you quietly aim for the head, allowing you to stealthily take down a target.

As a beginner weapon, the Spiker is the best choice in the early stages of the game where stealth will be a major part of your strategy.

Fourpounder

A hard slapping handgun that uses large caliber ammo, the Fourpounder unleashes a devastating punch with each shot that will obliterate most of your enemies. With so much power that it packs, it is heavy and slow to use, while also has a small magazine size to compensate and balance things around.

The Fourpounder is also a common weapon that can be found easily in the game, while you can make it even more deadly by increasing its accuracy with the Double Trouble Character Trinket.

Heritage Gun

The best thing about this weapon is that it offers both close-range and long-range firing capability, giving you plenty of combat options in a single weapon. To first get this weapon, you need to complete the Super Shifty Arsenal Lead in Karl’s Bay to obtain it.

To make the weapon even deadlier, you can attach the Sure Shot and Speedloader for increased accuracy and reload speed.

Strelak 50-50

This weapon is a shotgun that is surprisingly fast in shooting down multiple enemies quickly. However, this comes at the price of its slow reloading speed. Having said that, you can improve the reload speed by equipping the Speedloader Trinket paired with the Hailfire to further increase the rate of fire.

Rapier

The Rapier is another large caliber ammo-taking weapon that can be found almost everywhere in the game. It works as a long-range weapon that will land accurate and decent damage-dealing shots from a distance. Though it takes only one bullet at a time, you can increase the speed with the Speedloader Trinket or attack the Big Box to increase the clip size of the weapon.

Strelak Verso

These are two handguns that let you fire small caliber ammo, but the most interesting thing about them is that you can use them separately or combine them to make a powerful burst weapon. The best way to get this weapon is to go to The Complex at Noon.

Constancy Automatic

This weapon can be obtained by killing Visionary Frank in the game. The weapon has two attached magazines which give you an uninterrupted rate of fire that will eventually run out of bullets but not so quickly.

When using the weapon, you will be firing a lot of bullets that might be fizzing past the enemy’s head as you miss shots. The performance of the weapon can be increased by equipping the Shock Absorber trinket to decrease the weapon’s recoil.

MG-1 Pepper Mill

The MG-1 is a machine gun that lets you spray down enemies with its large mag size filled with small caliber ammo, and a high rate of fire. The weapon comes in handy when stealth is out of the question and when you need to clear out a large group of enemies coming your way.

The trinkets available like the Big Box and Shock Absorber will make the mag size even bigger, and reduce the weapon recoil.

Sepulchra Breteira

Just looking at the weapon you can instantly recognize it as a long range sniper rifle that uses large caliber ammo. The weapon is best used to take down enemies far away, but is a single bolt weapon, meaning it has a slow rate of fire.

This, again, can be countered by attaching the Speedloader trinket along with the Hailfire and Big Box for an increased rate of fire and mag size.

Vopat Trencher

The Vopat is a pump-action shotgun that you can find anywhere in the game as it is a very common weapon in Deathloop. It takes Shells for ammo that has a wide spread of pellets when shot.

This weapon can be made better by increasing the damage, the reload speed, and mag size by attaching the Lightning Strike, Speedloader, and Big Box Trinkets.

Best Weapons

Now that you know how each weapon works, and if you have already used the weapons, you already have an idea of what the best weapons are going to be. Depending on whether you prefer a long-range or a close-range weapon to bring the fight to the enemy, you have a few options that stand better than the rest.

The best weapon for close-range combat is not better than the Vopat Trencher, equipped with the trinkets we have mentioned above. The shotgun is already quite devastating in its stock condition, but the Trinkets make it even deadlier when taking down all sorts of enemies.

For a long-range weapon, you have the Rapier, purely because of its More Bang perk that comes in the purple rarity form. This weapon is already quite strong for long to medium range combat, but the More Bang perk explodes the bullets when it hits the target, dealing additional damage to the enemy.

Another honorable mention will be the PT-6 Spiker, mainly because of how effective it is as a beginner’s weapon in the early stages. Its ability to fire nails silently, allowing players to take down enemies quietly is a big plus when you are getting familiar with things in Deathloop.
