Day of the Devs 2022 came up with several indie titles for us to look forward to this year and beyond. The event was brought with the collaboration of Double Fine and iam8bit, giving us new trailers and announcements for indie games on consoles and PC.

Take a look at all the game trailers that were showcased at the Day of the Devs 2022 event:

Time Flies

Time Flies is a short game about how each person has limited time in this world. You take the role of a fly, with only mere seconds to live by and do whatever you can in its short simple life.

Planet of Lana

A new gameplay trailer for Planet of Lana shoes us the side scroller in its beautiful world full of adventure. The game will release later this year on Xbox and PC.

Choo-Choo Charles

Another game to get a gameplay trailer at the event was Choo-Choo Charles, a game where you will navigate on an island abroad an old yellow train. The game may sound adorable, but is far from it as you will encounter evil spider train named Charles, terrorizing your home.

Escape Academy

Escape Academy is a game that you can play entirely in single player or co-op with a friend. Train to become the ultimate Escapist. Solve Puzzles. Hack Servers. Meet the Faculty. Brew the perfect cup of tea. The game will launch later this year day one on Game Pass.

A Little to the Left

A Little to the Left is a satisfying and mysterious world with 75+ delightful puzzles to discover. Keep your eye out for a mischievous cat who has an inclination for chaos. Sort, stack, and organize things into just the right spot in A Little to the Left, a tidy puzzle game with a mischievous cat who likes to make a mess!

Bear & Breakfast

Laid back management adventure game, Bear and Breakfast will release next month on 28 July on PC and Nintendo Switch.

Animal Well

A short preview of Animal Well by Shared Memory was showcased at the event. The game will have players exploring a dense, interconnected labyrinth, to unravel all of its secrets.

Naiad

Naiad is a game about nature. Immerse yourself in a relaxing and colorful exploration experience, flowing by a river.

Roots of Pacha

Roots of Pacha is a farming sim set in the stone age where you discover the ideas that shaped humanity. Be a part of a thriving stone age community. Discover “ideas,” domesticate crops, befriend animals, and contribute to the growth of your village.

Desta: The Memories Between

A behind the scenes look at Desta: The Memories Between where we got a first look at the game’s development, the story telling, and the production for the ambitious game.

SCHiM

SCHim got a teaser trailer for this 3D platformer that takes place in the shadows. The game is about jumping from shadow to shadow in a challenging and lively environment.

Fox and Frog Travelers The Demon of Adashino Island

The first of the two indie games coming from Japan was Fox and Frog Travelers The Demon of Adashino Island

Goodbye World

The second game from Japan was Goodbye World, that actually got its second trailer reveal.

Birth

Experience loneliness living in a large city in this point-and-click adventure. Birth is an adventure puzzle game about constructing a creature from spare bones & organs found around the city in order to quell your loneliness.

How to say goodbye

The narrative puzzle game got a short inclusion, where the game is inspired by illustrated books. Move the elements of decor and manipulate reality to help a group of ghosts wandering between two worlds reach the “other side”

Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland

The last game to be featured in the event was Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland with tis Kickstarter launch trailer. Explore a dream world as Little Nemo, armed with toys, candy, and stuffed animals in this colorful platforming metroidvania adventure.
