NetEase Game held an in-depth show for their upcoming horror title Once Human in their NetEase Games. Apart from releasing a new trailer, the developer also showcased additional details about the upcoming survival horror game as well. So, without ado, here is everything that was featured in the NetEase Games Showcase 2022.
Once Human In-Depth Look
Let’s start with the new trailer that NetEase Games featured at their showcase for Once Human before we jump into additional details:
Following the trailer, Victoria Peng Sun, Senior Game Designer for Once Human took to the stage and shared additional details about the title. She started by explaining the genre The game features a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has fallen
Bosses are named The Great Ones and they are vicious, cunning, and really challenging to defeat. They come from beyond the human dimensions, and they look like something that is beyond anyone’s apprehension. Players will sometime go against other players as well. Once Human will feature a huge map with various areas ranging from desert to a swamp to a dense forest with plenty of resources for you to collect and tons of enemies for you to fight. There is also a Stronghold where you will be able to challenge other players for supremacy.
The game will have two multiplayer modes at launch one of which will allow PvEvP where apart from exploring the map, scouting for resources, and killing The Great Ones, you will also have to watch out for surprise attacks by other enemy players who will enter your game as well. Killing other players will give you a huge amount of Source which is the most important resource of the game. The game will also feature dungeons which are more contained environments, but tougher fights and you will need everything you have got to complete these dungeons.
At the end of the stream, we got to have a detailed look at some of the enemies, bosses, and environments that will be featured in Once Human. A release date for Once Human has not been announced at this point however it is coming soon and additional details about the game will be shared in the upcoming months leading to the game’s launch.
