This Crimson Desert Kuku Breeze-Step Guide shows how to unlock the blueprint and craft Kuku Breeze-Step Boots. If you want to move around the map faster and reach higher places easily, the Kuku Breeze-Step Boots are a great upgrade. These boots give you a much higher double jump, making exploration and movement feel much better.
Kuku Breeze-Step Guide – Crimson Desert
You will be making these boots at the Kilnden Workshop in Hernand. This area becomes available early in the game after completing a short quest that unlocks the workshop and its NPC.

Once unlocked, you can access different crafting recipes here. The Breeze-Step Boots are one of them, and they come with useful bonuses like increased lightning resistance and a special jump ability, the Breeze-Step Skill, that boosts your height when you double jump.
First Step: Basic and Enhanced Pot
Before crafting the boots, you will need to prepare a key item.
Start by making a basic pot using simple materials: 5x iron ore and 5x timber. After that, you will need to upgrade it to an enhanced version. If you don’t already have the recipe for this upgrade, you will need to complete a sanctum in the southern region called the Sanctum of Absolution.

This sanctum is straightforward: Defeat enemies and solve a simple puzzle by powering a machine. Once completed, the blueprint for the enhanced pot becomes available.
Getting Abyss Cells
To craft the enhanced pot, you will also need an Abyss Cell. These are dropped by rock-like enemies found in different areas of the game.

A reliable place to farm them is north of Hernand at The Sage’s Peak. These enemies look like normal rocks but come alive when approached. Defeating them can drop useful materials, including Abyss Cells. You can find several of them in one area, and they respawn after some time, so farming is easy.
Unlocking the Boot Blueprint
The blueprint for the Breeze-Step Boots is tied to the witches’ questline.
First, you need to unlock the Witch of Humility. This starts when you help an NPC hanging from a bridge, which leads to discovering the witch and unlocking her sanctums.

After that, head to the Sanctum of Oblation, located on a large island to the right of Delesyia. Defeat the enemies and complete the sanctum just like others you’ve done before. Once finished, you will receive the blueprint for the boots.

Collecting Remaining Materials
To craft the boots, you will need a few more items.
Electrical components can be obtained from robotic enemies in Delesyia. These machines are commonly found along roads and open areas, and they drop the required parts when defeated.

Another important item is the Core of Faith. This is obtained by completing the Sanctum of Faith, which is also part of the witch questline. In this sanctum, you will fight enemies and solve a puzzle involving light. By using your focused light ability, you rotate and activate parts of a mechanism until it is fully aligned. Once completed, the core will appear, and you can collect it.

Crafting the Boots
After gathering all the materials, including the enhanced pot, electrical components, and the core, you can return to the workshop and craft the Kuku Breeze-Step Boots.
Once equipped, you will immediately notice the difference. Your double jump becomes much stronger, allowing you to reach higher ledges and move more freely across the environment. There is even a visual glow effect on the boots, which makes them stand out.
