After several months of Early Access, Hellbreach: Vegas, the wave-based cooperative demon shooter, is officially out with its full release. Created by solo developer Ashley Ellis and published by Iceberg Interactive, the game offers a mix of action and strategy. It now features seven diverse maps, five unique game modes, ten enemy types, and over twenty different weapons to choose from giving you a content-hefty title at its release.
The early access period was vital for Hellbreach: Vegas as the developer worked on player feedback and fine-tuned the full release accordingly. Compared to its early phases, the game is now a completely different product and to give you a taste, an updated demo is also now live so that new and even returning you can try it out before giving the full game a shot. Considering the game has been developed by a solo developer, it is certainly a massive achievement to receive this level of refinement and following before its release which is evident from the 78% positive rating.
To celebrate the full launch, the developers have released a brand-new trailer as well. Check it out:
Originally launched on Steam’s Early Access program in March 2024, Hellbreach: Vegas was well-received by both gamers and critics. Ellis, working tirelessly over the months, has implemented numerous updates and improvements based on community suggestions. These efforts have culminated in the release of version 1.0, which includes:
- Five Game Modes: You can test your skills in different scenarios with modes like Survive, Trapped, Gun Pro, Royale, and the newly introduced Nightmare mode.
- Seven Maps: Alongside a practice map, you can explore new environments, including the ‘Hellfest’ map, which takes the battle to the demons’ stronghold.
- Weapons and Perks: With 19 guns, three melee weapons, and 12 perks, you have a variety of tools at your disposal to combat the demon hordes.
- Slot Machines and Enemy Types: The game features five slot machines and ten enemy types, adding to the game’s dynamic and engaging gameplay.
Hellbreach: Vegas challenges you to survive as waves of demons invade Las Vegas. Whether playing solo or with up to four players, the goal is to kill demons, earn cash, and utilize the slot machines to stay alive through increasingly difficult rounds. The combination of multiple maps, a wide selection of weapons, and a variety of enemies makes the game a challenging yet rewarding experience.
Considering the short time the game spent in its Early Access period, this is no doubt a massive achievement for both the developer and the publisher. You can download and play the full version of Hellbreach: Vegas right now from its official Steam page. If you plan on playing it later, you can always consider adding it to your wishlist. Additionally, you can also try out a free demo before spending any money to see if you like the game or not. As of now, the game is offering a 33% launch discount as well so now is a great time to add it to your library for a discounted price.
