Now, he is leaving the publisher also by the end of this month.

The departure news from Activision publisher came from the official twitter account of Glen Schofield. He will leave the studio and take some time off to relax and later think about something new and exciting.

Co-Founder Sledgehammer Glen Schofield had a good run with the company and publisher Activision. Before Sledghammer, Glen was former Vice President and General Manager at Visceral Games and helped in development of Dead Space game series.

After that in 2009, Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey formed Sledehammer. Now, he will leave Activision and Sledgehammer both to try new things. In an interview with Gamespot, Glen Schofield said about his time at Activision that:

nothing but good things to say, but after nine years of Call of Duty games he needs a change, I seriously am going to take my time finding my next gig, Make sure it’s exactly what I want to do. I still have a couple good games in me

Glen Schofield has a good history and track record on number of game genres. He was Vice President at Visceral and co-founder at Sledgehammer. Currently, it can not be said much if he will join another studio or publisher to expand his ideas and shape them into a video game. However, whatever Glen Schofield will decide, things will come out eventually and we will know what his next plan or video game theme is.
