This Biomutant Hoof Puff Boss Guide will show you how to beat yet another World Eater boss in the game called Hoof Puff. The Hoof Puff is quite similar to Porky Puff in the sense that it has weak points on its body that need to be exploited to win the battle.
However, to make things easier for you, you need to have at least one ranged weapon with high accuracy with range. If you cannot get such a weapon, upgrade the weapons that you have in hand to make them accurate and efficient with range. You don’t need to worry about high damage out, reload speed, or a higher rate of fire as these are not really necessary in the battle.

How to Beat Hoof Puff
The Hoof Puff battle progresses in three phases, where every subsequent phase adds a single new attack in the mix. In the first phase of the battle, the Hoof Puff will rely on its melee attacks mainly from its paws. The boss will also be pretty quick with its attack, where at times it will look desperate to keep track of you and land a hit.
The fight will require a mount, which will help you navigate all around the Hoof Puff’s body looking for the weak points on each of the boss’s legs. Behind each of the boss’s legs will be a weak point in the shape of a pink boil. Shooting at all of these will stagger the boss and force it to open its jaw wide open. At this point, the game will prompt you to press the button shown on to hook one of the boss’s tooth, and then mash the button to pull the tooth out clean from the boss. This process of running around shooting at all four weak points and then going to the mouth to pull out a tooth will continue in the first phase until you have depleted all a third of the boss’s health.
In the second phase of the battle, the Hoof Puff will return with a fiery and colorful tail, launching orange peacock pattern feather spikes at your location. At this point, all you can do is run and dash forward with your mount to avoid all the incoming projectiles. Your attack will be the same as in the first phase, except that instead of pulling out its teeth, you will have to knock the boss down after the button prompt, and follow up with as many shots you can while the boss is knocked out.
The weak points will keep spawning, giving you plenty of chances to deal high damage to the boss.
In the final phase of the battle, the Hoof Puff will spit out a green poisonous liquid that stays for quite a while in the area. Avoiding the toxic puddle, you have to watch out for the feather spike attack along with its melee attacks in this phase. The Hoof Puff will throw everything it has in this final phase of the battle, while your strategy will remain the same which is to move around and hit the weak points, knock down the boss, and follow up with a rain of bullets.
