You will have a variety of inventory items already collected in your inventory if you have played the game a little bit. These inventory items are detailed below.
Arrows – These are your number of arrows and which type of arrows are currently in your inventory. You can pick them up from dead enemies and arrow stands.
Resources – You will gather a wide range of resources on your journey throughout the land or seas.
Trade Goods – These items can only be sold to merchants and have no other use. You will find them on dead enemies or containers scattered around the map.
Documents – These are Ainigmata Ostraka clues that you will be required to solve. Check out detailed guide here.
Quest Items – Quest Items are specific quest related items, which will be used for completing different quests in the game. They will remain in your inventory permanently or until the quest is completed.
Orichalcum Ore – This is one of the rarest resources in the game. You can trade it for legendary items. It may be earned by completing message board quests or war contracts.
You have six different types of melee weapons to choose from. Each weapon type has their own unique advantages and disadvantages. Apart from melee weapons, you will also have your bow which is only limited to one type. Depending on your gaming style, you can choose any weapon that suits you best.
As you make progress in the game, you will earn more weapons and you can switch to them. Even if you do not have your favorite weapon right at the start, play the game a little bit and you will eventually unlock more types of weapons. As you level up, you will be able to use better weapons, upgrade them at blacksmith or equip Engravings to add bonuses to the weapons.
The gear section of the inventory screen will show you your armor and weapons. You can choose a weapon or armor piece to see more options and equip the most suitable one. The default icons on the screen will show the pieces, which are currently equipped in the game. You can have a total of 350 gear items at one time. There is no limit for quest items and documents however.
On this screen, you can also choose the arrow type that is currently equipped in your bow. For this to unlock, you must first purchase the Arrow Master ability. To change the equipped arrow, simply press left on the D-Pad. You can also use a torch in dark areas for some light by pressing right on the D-Pad. You can also toggle your headgear by clicking the R down. This will allow you to see or hide your character’s face while battles and cutscenes if they are wearing head armor.
Looking further down, you will be able to see your Hunter Damage, Warrior Damage and Assassin Damage. These represent your damage with each type of weapon. Hunter Damage shows your damage with ranged weapons such as bow and arrows. Hunter damage represent damage done using stealth abilities and kills. Warrior Damage is your damage output with melee weapons such as swords and spears. You total health is also displayed here.
You can increase all these stats by getting better armor, weapons and Engravings. As you level up in the game, you will be able to wear more higher-level armor pieces and weapons. This will cause your damage stats and health stats to go up and you will become better and more capable in combat.
Armor and weapons fall in four different categories based on their rarity. These are common, rare, epic and legendary. As the armor piece or weapon increases in rarity level, their stats also improve. Hence, it is vital that you equip better equipment for making combat easier and more favorable for you.
