Templar Armor Guide – Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
There are 5 Keys in total. Out of the five, one key is given automatically when you visit the Manor, but the remaining four require completing optional Templar Hunt side quests which are spread across different regions of the map.
First Templar Key
As mentioned before, the first key doesn’t require any work and is awarded automatically upon visiting the Manor, giving you access to the Templar Key collection room. From there, you’ll need to complete the remaining Templar Hunts to obtain the other four keys.
Upton Travers Templar Hunt
You will obtain your second key from the Upton Travers Templar Hunt. To begin your mission, you need to head to the quest marker on your map. Before you progress through several objectives, you will meet an NPC first. Continue following each quest marker until the storyline is complete. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes to finish, after which you’ll receive your second Templar Key.
Rhona Dinsmore Templar Hunt
The next key is obtained by completing Rhona Dinsmore’s Templar Hunt, located in Havana.
As you did previously, travel to the quest marker and begin the mission. This is a multiple-objective hunt, so keep tracking the quest after each step until the storyline is finished. You will receive another Templar Key after every mission in the chain is completed.
In case the quest isn’t available after you arrive, that means that you need to first progress further in the main story before you are eligible.
Opia Apito Templar Hunt
Next Hunt is Opia Apito Templar Hunt, after which you can gain access to the third Templar Key. After reaching the marked location, look for the NPC waiting on the beach. Speak with them to begin the questline, then continue completing each objective as it appears.
You will receive the third Templar Key after all the missions are finished.
Anto Templar Hunt
The final Templar Key comes from the Anto Templar Hunt in Kingston. Like before, you need to mark the quest on the map and finish all the missions in the questline and any additional objectives that may appear.
Just like the previous hunts, this quest may not be available immediately. If you don’t see it, continue advancing through the main story until the mission becomes accessible.
Unlocking the Armor
Now that you possess all five keys, return to the Manor using the fast travel point.
Go inside the Manor. On the right, you will see a locked door that contains all the Templar rewards. Interact with the door and insert all five Templar Keys to unlock it.
Once you unlock the Templar door, you will be rewarded with the Legendary Templar Armor Outfit. Moreover, the Templar Cross trinket will also be awarded to you along with the outfit. The trinket reduces damage from enemy melee attacks, making it a useful bonus alongside the cosmetic armor reward.
