This Control Resonant guide details how you can reach and investigate the theatre in the West Incursion Zone in the game. It explains the route to the theatre in the West Incursion Zone. You will need the gravity-switching ability from the parking garage to cross the unusual roads and rooftops along the way. Once you have it, follow the route below to reach the theatre and investigate it.
Theatre Investigation Guide – Control Resonant
Head into the West Incursion Zone and locate the theatre building on the map. Before setting off, make sure you have the gravity ability unlocked at the parking garage. This lets you change your orientation and walk along surfaces such as roads and rooftops.
At your starting point, you will see that the theatre is straight ahead, but if you look over the edge, the path on the right and straight leads nowhere, so take the route on the left instead. Make a jump and drop onto the platform below to begin the climb toward the next section.
From the platform, look upward, jump, and activate your gravity-switching ability to line yourself up with the surface ahead.
Climb up and continue along the route. You’ll reach a wide gap, so build up your jump and cross to the other side.
Keep climbing along the left-hand side, then move across to the next section, and you will reach a road which you can get onto using the gravity switching ability.
Follow it to the right, where you will come across a checkpoint surrounded by frozen Hiss enemies.
Continue straight from the checkpoint and, using the gravity switching ability, move onto the road to the right, move straight ahead, and prepare for another large jump across the gap.
Once you’ve crossed, look up to spot the Empire building in the distance. This is your next destination, so keep it in view as you move forward.
Jump toward the large road ahead and switch gravity while in the air to reach the higher surface. You can also use the nearby rooftop to help position yourself correctly.
After reaching the empire building area, make your way down through the stairs into the subway station. Go all the way down and follow the road through the station, and make your way to the right, where you will come across a health chest that you can loot. On the left, there is another checkpoint, so make sure to reach it before continuing. From the checkpoint, move straight ahead, go up the staircase, take a right turn, and continue along the route to leave the station through the opposite side.
Once you are outside, turn around and use the dead-end section to help reorient yourself with the gravity mechanic. Move up onto the higher surface, then run back down the road toward the next area.
Continue until you spot a large blood-painted symbol on the wall.
The area behind you marks the route you came from, so proceed in the opposite direction. You will also find a fast travel door nearby if you want to use it. From there, climb up the wall, cross over the blood-covered barrier, and continue outside. The theatre will be directly ahead in this final section.
