How to Farm Ancient Civilization Cores in Palworld 1.0

Below, we have detailed multiple methods by which you can farm Ancient Civilization Cores in the game easily.

Pal Expeditions and Boss Fights

Unlocking the Pal Expedition Station, available at Level 22, is one of the first steps towards the Ancient Civilization Cores.

Once you have access to it, you’ll find various missions of varying levels of danger. In earlier stages, concentrate on the low- and medium-risk trips and search for Bellanoir Libero Slab Fragments.

You will require four Bellanoir Libero Slab Fragments to make one Bellanoir Libero Slab. Once enough fragments are gathered, go to a workbench to create the slab. You can then bring this to a Summoning Altar where you can use it to summon the boss.

Once you have defeated Bellanoir, you will earn Ancient Civilization Cores. Moreover, high-risk expeditions guarantee Ancient Civilization Core drops. These higher-risk missions unlock after you defeat the game’s bosses on great difficulty. They can also offer additional Bellanoir Libero Slab Fragments.

You can deploy up to 100 Pals when sending Pals on an expedition. The number and skills of the Pals sent will determine the reward bonus. For example, if you send 100 Pals, the reward bonus will be 550%, so it is quite beneficial to make expeditions, as it is a passive way to collect Pals

Another way is to explore the dungeons around the Astral Mountains and other icy areas. After entering the dungeon, head towards the final boss. Once you see a sigil on the wall, it means that you have reached the boss room. Defeat the boss and pick up the rewards at the end, which may be a Bellanoir Libero Slab.

After creating a slab, you will need a Summoning Altar, which unlocks at Level 33. To summon the boss, choose the raid area; otherwise, your base will be damaged, and your working Pals will be damaged. You’ll have five minutes to prepare before the battle begins, giving you time to craft weapons or make other preparations.

Oil Rig, Terraria Dungeon and Late Game Farming

Another way of obtaining Ancient Civilization Cores is through the Level 55 Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig. The drop is not guaranteed but has a high probability. The large, gold chest is what you are looking for.

This chest could be placed in four different locations on the oil rig. If the first spawn area doesn’t have what you need, see the other spawn areas. There is also not guaranteed Ancient Civilization Core in the chest.

Another approach, which is boss-based, is to go to the Sealed Realm of Terraria, whose coordinates are -41, -791. The main aim of going to this place is to collect Hallowed Bars to make a Celestial Sigil.

When exploring the dungeon, keep an eye on the floating eyeballs, slimes, and other enemies in the way. You can also break the special walls found throughout the dungeon to collect additional Hallowed Bars. Continue through the dungeon until you reach the Eye of Cthulhu.

After defeating the boss, you will get rewards, but be sure that you pick up the Celestial Sigil schematic from the last chest. You will be able to gather enough Hallowed Bars by running this dungeon thrice.

When you have the materials, go back to your base and create the Celestial Sigil at a workbench. It takes 100 Hallowed Bars. Once completed, go to the Summoning Altar with the Celestial Sigil and a slab and select the raid area once again.

Celestial Sigil Crafting

You will have five minutes to prepare for the fight with the Moon Lord. During the battle, concentrate on the eyes located on the hands and the eye on its forehead. After those are blown away, concentrate attacks on the chest. Once the Moon Lord is defeated, you may be rewarded with six Ancient Civilization Cores.

If you’re looking for a much more advanced farming method, go to the World Tree and the Dusty Ravine located at coordinates -566, 519. You will get an old artifact called Snock Lux after searching this area. Other enemies can also drop other forms of ancient relics.

Once you’ve gathered these relics, head back to your base and build the Ancient Relic Recycler at level 74.

Insert the ancient artifacts into the recycler and turn it on. This is a great choice in the later stages of the game, since only a few relics can yield up to 47 Ancient Civilization Cores.
