Our Coralum Ore Farming Guide explains two methods you can use to Farm Coralum Ore in Palworld 1.0. The two methods include collecting it through salvaging in the ocean or producing it by using the Pal Disassembly Conveyor to breed Whalaska and using. Both these methods are reliable ways to get Coralum.
Coralum Ore Farming Guide – Palworld 1.0
There are two main approaches to farming Coralum Ore. Both methods are explained below:
Salvaging Coralum Ore
Salvaging is one of the quickest methods to obtain this resource. You will need to equip a Fishing Rod along with a Powerful Fishing Magnet.
It is recommended to go around the Isle of the Glacial Core area for salvaging. Moreover, waters surrounding the Feybreak Islands also have many salvage locations, making it another good place to look.

You should also bring Jellroy to improve your rewards. If it has been condensed to four stars, it increases the number of items obtained from salvaging by up to 95%, allowing you to collect more resources from each salvage point.

Using a Gangler is also recommended since you can travel across water more easily using it. Once you have found and selected a salvage spot, interact with it and complete the salvaging mini-game. A single salvage can reward you with14 Corallium Ore, which is a good amount of the material in one attempt.
Breeding Whalaska for Coralum Ore
The second farming method requires the Pal Whalaska. You can find this Pal around the Isle of the Glacial Core at 139, 640. This is one of the best places to find it.
You should start at the nearby fast travel point and fly between different spawn locations. When you move between these points repeatedly, the Pal spawns will refresh, which will give you better opportunities to find both a male and female Whalaska.
Once a pair has been captured to breed, you need to build a Breeding Farm, which unlocks at Level 19. Moreover, an Electric Egg Incubator is also required, and its larger versions unlock at Levels 48 and 58; the Pal Disassembly Conveyor will also be required, which becomes available at Level 56.

To start the breeding process, a Cake needs to be made, which you can craft at a kitchen using Flour, Red Berries, Milk, Eggs, and Honey. All these items can be purchased from the Wandering Merchant. Red Berries can also be grown on a farm. Honey is the only ingredient that cannot be bought.
In order to obtain Honey, you must capture a Beegarde and assign it to a Ranch. It will eventually start producing Honey over time.

After you have crafted enough Cakes, place them in the chest beside your Breeding Farm and allow your Whalaska to produce eggs.
Use the Pal Disassembly Conveyor to raise the Whalaska, which will result when the eggs are hatched, and use the Pal. Once you disassemble Whalaska, you will be rewarded with Corallium Ore.
This method requires a long process but can result in long-term benefits after your breeding setup is established.
It is also recommended to use Grintale, as it increases your breeding efficiency. A four-star Grintale provides up to a 75% chance of receiving an additional egg from your breeding farm. You can find Grintale in its habitat during the day, but a nighttime search will be better, as the spawning area for Grintale is larger at night.
