Weapon of Sorrow Guide – Destiny 2 – Monument of Triumph
Weapons of Sorrow are a special group of Exotic weapons connected to Hive corruption and dark Hive magic within Destiny’s lore. Several weapons belong to this category, and owning any one of them will satisfy requirements that ask for a Weapon of Sorrow.
If you browse your Collections, you will find examples such as Thorn, Osteo Striga, Touch of Malice, and Necrochasm. Players who unlocked these weapons in the past can simply reclaim them from their collections using the purchase method without having to earn them again.

Head to the Exotic Archive
The fastest solution is to visit the Tower and make your way to the Courtyard area.

Season Pass rewards frequently include Exotic Ciphers, making them an easy source for active players. Another option is obtaining one through Xur. After securing a Cipher and enough Glimmer, you can return to the archive and purchase Thorn.
