PXN Launches Vector X Sim Racing Pedals With 200kg Load Cell Brake and Dual-Sensor Throttle

PXN has expanded its growing sim racing lineup with the launch of the Vector X Pedals, a new high-end pedal set aimed at enthusiasts looking for more adjustability and precision than entry-level hardware typically offers.

Available now, the Vector X ships as a two-pedal setup featuring throttle and brake pedals, while an optional clutch pedal can be purchased separately for drivers who prefer a three-pedal configuration.

The main feature of the Vextor X is the brake system, which uses a 200kg load cell sensor designed to provide more consistent and realistic braking input. PXN includes interchangeable springs that allow users to adjust pedal resistance, with both standard and firmer options included in the box.

The throttle pedal also takes a different approach from many competing designs. Rather than relying on a single sensor, PXN combines a 15kg load cell with a Hall-effect sensor through what it calls its X-Cross dual-sensor system. The company says the setup is intended to improve input accuracy and responsiveness during rapid throttle changes.

For users opting for the separate clutch pedal, PXN has implemented a two-stage mechanism paired with a 30kg load cell to better replicate the engagement feel found in real-world manual transmissions.

The Vector X is built almost entirely from metal, with a chassis constructed from laser-cut stainless steel and a CNC-machined aluminum base plate. Carbon fiber pedal faces and a raised heel plate complete the design.

Beyond the hardware itself, PXN is placing a strong emphasis on customization. Users can adjust pedal spacing, pedal angle, travel distance, pedal face position, and brake resistance to suit different driving styles and cockpit configurations.

Software support is handled through the PXN SimRacing application, which allows users to calibrate inputs, modify response curves, adjust dead zones, and monitor pedal signals in real time. The software also provides multiple operating modes for the throttle, allowing drivers to choose between dual-sensor input, load-cell-only operation, or Hall-sensor-only input.
