Reanimal Chapter 9 Walkthrough Guide – How to Complete

Reanimal Chapter 9 Walkthrough

This Reanimal Chapter 9 Walkthrough Guide details how you can complete the ninth chapter: All-Consuming Past, and find all collectibles in it. Chapter 9 is the last part of the game and focuses mainly on a long tank sequence, followed by the final story moments. There are no traditional collectibles to search for here, but there are important trophies tied to how you play this section.

Chapter 9 Walkthrough Guide – Reanimal

At the start, you are already inside the tank. Move forward and fire at any machine gunners that appear ahead of you. The path is straightforward and mostly moves in one direction, so you don’t need to worry about getting lost. Just keep pushing ahead.

As you continue, you will drive through different areas, including straight through a theater building. Eventually, the large sheep begins chasing you again.

“Destruction Derby” Trophy

Throughout the entire tank section, make sure to drive over destroyed cars whenever you see them. You must crush a total of 24 car wrecks to unlock this trophy. There are more than enough along the path, so missing a small number won’t ruin it. Just stay mindful and run over as many as you can while moving forward.

When the sheep starts chasing you, keep firing at it nonstop. The cannon will automatically aim at the sheep, so you don’t need to adjust your aim manually. Focus on steering and continuing to flatten car wrecks along the road. If you have destroyed enough vehicles, the trophy should unlock near the end of the chase, right before the sheep catches up.

Final Tank Battle with the Sheep

Eventually, the sheep will grab the tank in a scripted moment that cannot be avoided. At this point, you must manually aim the cannon at its head and shoot it three times. After landing the required hits, the ground beneath you collapses, and both the tank and sheep fall together. The girl exits the tank, and control switches to her.

Follow the narrow platform path ahead. Move quickly and don’t hesitate, as this section can be dangerous if you slow down. After progressing for a short time, a cutscene automatically plays where the girl is swallowed by the sheep. The setting changes to the inside of its body, and the screen takes on a red tone.

Continue forward until you reach the end of the path. Use the call button (L1 / LB) to signal the boy so he can open the way for you. Once the path is clear, simply keep going straight ahead until you enter a shed-like area. Inside, interact with the white rabbit lying on the ground.

The Ending Sequence

Control now shifts to the boy. You must drag a body toward a well. Doing this triggers the final scene.

At the bottom of the well, the girl is shown. If you collected all five Coffins in this same playthrough, an extended ending plays. In this version, five shadowy figures connected to the coffins appear and embrace the girl, and the well begins to overflow. If you missed any Coffins, this extra scene would not happen.

Final Trophies

Completing the story awards the trophies All is Well and Friends Reunited. If you have earned every other trophy in the game, the Platinum trophy Nothing Lasts Forever will unlock as well.

If you missed certain collectibles like posters, masks, or critters, you could return to gather them using Chapter Select after choosing New Game from the menu. However, Coffins and Hidden Statues must all be collected within a single fresh playthrough. If you missed any of those, you would need to start a new run to obtain them properly. This concludes Chapter 9 and the game.
