When you’re exploring the huge city of Lumiose in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, it usually takes a lot of time to move from one place to another on foot. Fortunately, the game offers a fast travel system, but it is not available from the start, and players need to explore and move through the city on foot until they reach a specific point in the story. In this Pokemon Legends: Z-A Fast Travel Guide, we will see how to unlock fast travel and how to use it, to make the most out of it.
How to Unlock Fast Travel in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
You cannot fast travel right away. First, you have to unlock it. To unlock, you must complete your first Battle Zone, not the one you escape from during the introduction, but the first real one in the story.
After completing the Battle Zone by defeating three trainers and earning enough points during Main Mission 4: Battling in the Z-A Royale, you will get a Challengers Ticket as a reward.
After that, you are asked to go to the Pokémon Center to find Zach, your first Promotion Match opponent. Once you reach this stage, a message will pop up explaining how this Fast Travel system works and unlock the feature.
How to Fast Travel
After unlocking the system, you can use fast travel by opening your map. There, scroll over to the discovered Travel Spots or open the Travel Spots sub-menu.
Almost every major landmark in Lumiose City works as a Travel Spot, although there are a few places that don’t. You can’t fast travel to places you haven’t visited yet.
Open your map and press Y to open the full list of Travel Spots. You’ll see a list of every travel point you have visited across the city. Simply scroll through and choose where you want to go, and your character will instantly go there.
For a quick way, simply open the map, move your cursor directly over a Fast Travel Point, and confirm your selection to travel immediately.
So, Fast Travel saves time, makes exploration smoother, and helps you get back into battles or missions faster than ever. That is all for this guide. Additional Pokemon Legends: Z-A guides are linked below:
