Mount Fay is located on the left side of the Pharloom, and it can only be accessed from its adjoining location The Slab. The Slab itself is only connected to Choral Chambers, making it a challenge to explore these two locations. Despite its hard-to-get location, Mount Fay is an important location, and thus it is vital that you collect its map as well to make it easier for you to explore it. Mount Fay Map Guide – Hollow Knight: Silksong
You will need the Grappling Hook for this map. For obtaining this map, we are starting in the left exit of Choral Chambers, which connects directly with The Slab. We have marked its location below:
Enter the area on the left using the door, and cross the large bridge with the buggies on it. Go all the way to the left and enter the next area. Inside the next area, keep going left, and you will soon get the notification that you have entered The Slab.
Keep heading left and enter the next area with the bridge. Continue moving left into the next area. After a little bit, you will come across a Fast Travel sign that points downwards. Go down from here.
Continue going down and to the left after landing on the platform.
After landing on the floor below, go right across the flying enemies. At the end, there is a small keyhole with an opening on the floor. The keyhole is a lock with a mark of Apostate. Drop down from here.
At the end of this passage, there is another drop. Go down from here.
Continue dropping down the platforms ahead. You are now heading towards the entrance of Mount Fay, which is on the left side of this area.
When you drop down to the floor, make your way further left, and you will arrive at the Fast Travel station. Call the Bell Beast to activate it, and then go left and enter Mount Fray. The area will start having a blue hue near its entrance. In Mount Fay’s first area, there are two round grappling spots, so use your grappling hooks and cover the chasm and land on the platform ahead. Make sure to glide between the two hooks, or else you will not make it to the next one.
Land on the next platform and continue into the next area through the door. As soon as you emerge into the next room, you will hear Shakra’s singing. Continue ahead, and you will find her next to a lantern and a resting rock. Speak with her and she will sell you the map for 40 Rosary Beads.
