Team17 and Small Impact Games have announced the early access release date of their highly anticipated upcoming looter shooter Marauders. Marauders will release in early access on PC this October. Before its early access release, a technical test will run from 6-14th September, and pre-orders for the game are now live as well. The technical tests will allow the developer to test out the servers and see if they are ready for the upcoming early access launch of the title.

All players who pre-order the game will be able to take part in these technical tests as well and additional information about the tests will be shared by the developers in the upcoming months. The team held two closed betas for the title previously however the upcoming tests will allow even more players into the game to really test the mettle of the servers and the game as well. The developer is looking forward to seeing as many players as possible on the servers during these tests.
If you do not know what Marauders is, it is a hardcore multiplayer looter shooter where humanity has fled to the stars after The Great War destroyed the planet Earth. In the game, you will team up with your crew with up to three other players and navigate a hostile background, hunt for loot, craft new weapons and gear and salvage everything that you can find in the game. Your survival will depend on it.
Pre-orders for the game are now live as well and the publisher is offering an exclusive 10% discount on pre-orders of the title. Everyone who pre-orders the game will get instant early access to the game when it comes out in October along with the bonus Space Pirate pack which includes an exclusive helmet and body cosmetic items which are not available otherwise.
