Corsair has just launched new Pro custom cooling CPU water blocks in its award-winning Hydro X Series, XC5 RGB Pro and XC7 RGB Pro. The custom water blocks come equipped with more than 110 high-efficiency micro-cooling fins and an innovative quad-split flow design.
The new water blocks are compatible across the entire range of modern CPUs from Intel and AMD, which also includes the upcoming Intel LGA 1700 socket. They feature vibrant RGB lightning paired with extraordinary cooling at the heart of your PC.
According to Corsair, both the XC5 RGB Pro and XC7 RGB Pro Custom CPU Water Blocks have better cooling performance up to 4C lower than previous-generation counterparts. This is thanks to the new precision-machined copper cold plates and quad-split flow design with multiple inlet channels.
XC5 RGB Pro lights up and shines with its 16 RGB LEDs that are customizable across lightning zones, and has a solid top for a more refined and minimalistic look. You can control the RGB lightning by synchronizing them with the Corsair iCUE Controller and the iCUE software. Alternatively, you can also control the RGB with compatible motherboards using an included 5V ARGB adapter cable.
The other model of the Pro custom water cooler, XC7 RGB Pro, comes with nickel-plated copper cold plates and a transparent flow chamber to show off your coolant and lighting. The XC7 RGB Pro also comes with 16 RGB LEDs that are individually addressable for even more intricate lighting effects.
Earlier this week, Corsair also launched its Elite LCD CPU coolers that come with a cool digital display on the pump head, allowing you to display anything from system vitals to animated GIFs of your choice. If you prefer your own display, you can add images and animated GIFs on the LCD screen, giving you endless possibilities to show off a team logo, a favorite meme, or unique animations right on the heart of your PC.
