The simple yet amusing web game Cookie Clicker is getting a PC launch via Steam after 8 years of game development. Over the course of 8 years, the game has been enjoyed by millions of players, while it still averages 4 million daily active users on the web version.
You don’t have to wait for the PC release as the game is currently available for free online. If you think the game is just about clicking cookies and multiplying them, you won’t be entirely wrong, but there is a lot else to do.
Cookie Clicker was originally launched back in 2013 and was actively improved by French developer Orteil with the help of feedback from the community.
